A lifesaver may seem to be a strong word, but it is not when you are facing a felony record for life any potential jailtime. When facing a serious case which could have resulted in a felony record, out of talking to at least 10 lawyers, Mr. Masorti stood out the most. His intelligence, grace, and dedication will protect you all the time at any time. He will do work without ever giving you tension, with you not even realizing the work he is putting into the case. Out of multiple charges that would have made me a felon, Mr. Masorti was able to get everything downgraded to one single misdemeanor charge, that after one year of the ARD program (pre-trial invertion, probation) that only required a court check in online once a month, would get expunged. He stands out in my mind as THE most impressive lawyer I have ever met. You cannot go wrong and will never question your decision in choosing Mr. Masorti.

Philip is an extremely approachable, friendly, and professional lawyer who will look out for you like you're family. I got in trouble for a felony level crime while on ARD and Philip managed to get me an extended ARD sentence instead of jail/prison time. Phil is a very professional and well known attorney in State College who went out above and beyond for me with my case. You can tell right off the bat that he is a very intelligent and outgoing lawyer. Phil seems to know everyone in State College/ Centre County and everyone knows him. Phil is a wonderful attorney, a friend, and overall person. During my case, he made sure that I knew what was going on with every step. Whenever I felt uneasy, he always had a way of subsiding those feelings and reassuring me that everything was going to be okay. Phil always looked out for my best interest and made sure that all accommodations were met. Over the course of the case, we developed a very great relationship that stemmed outside of just business. He helped get me a resolution that will ultimately lead to the expungement of charges and sealing of my records. Philip helped calm me down after the police got in contact with me. Afterwards he assured me that he would fight for me to get into ARD. With his help I entered the program. Philip is currently helping me get into a summer program abroad. We have not fully discussed final price so I'm not sure whether he was worth the money spent. Will update review once it is hashed out.

From my initial phone call with Philip regarding a DUI, he genuinely showed that he wanted to help me. After my first meeting with him at his office, I knew that he was the attorney that I needed to hire. He has always explained the processes that we would go through in the legal system. He has always been there, day and night, to answer any question that I had. He has been by my side to fight for me. He always treated me with respect. Phil worked his "magic" and got the sentence down to months in the county jail. Phil was definitely reasonably priced and was well worth the money we paid. Phil's a straight shooter with compassion. I hired Phillip for my DUI case and wouldn’t have had any other attorney representing me. He met with me whenever necessary, made sure I understood the processes clearly, and he went above and beyond to make sure all questions were answered and that I was prepared.

Mr. Masorti was very helpful in my situation. He was honest and upfront about the process, including what the anticipated outcomes were, both good and bad. We found ourselves in shock & disbelief when a family member was charged with felonies for an action causing no physical harm and legitimately believed to be within ones legal right to ‘stand your ground’. We were in search of a defense attorney who knew his way around Centre Co legal system and would provide a vigorous defense without taking the easy way out of a case. Recommendations immediately led us to Mr. Philip Masorti, whom we found to be confident and reassuring. We were extremely grateful and relieved he was at least able to get the charges reduced to a level more appropriate befitting the legal description of the incident. We were further shocked when the county still insisted on a punishment much more severe than we expected for a first offense with no physical harm, ( in light of what others received who actually caused physical harm, even death) but through this whole harrowing ordeal, Philip was there for us, especially me, at times more like a trusted family friend than legal counsel. He was frank and honest about possible outcomes. Having heard so many complaints about lawyers who don’t return calls, I was very pleasantly surprised and relieved to find Phil was never more than a phone call or text away even if out of town. He made himself available for face-to-face meetings when I needed updates and reassurance. He has a compassionate heart and truly seems to care about the success of young men who have made a mistake.

I was in big trouble in the beginning. After I went to see Philip everything was doing great, he is a positive, generous, and caring person. He was always there if I need help. He is patient to explain everything to me whenever I was stunned. In the end, my case was resolved and Philip brings good closure.
