Brian Gaglione is one of the Worse attorney I ever experienced! First off his secretary who answers the phone always has an attitude and talks like you are someone below her and expects you to not use your voice on your own matters which I paid 2500$ for a wrongful DUI conviction due to a Racist cop pulling me over for driving in the left lane 1am who made me take a sobriety test with 14 officers surrounding me waiting for me to get out of character so they can use extreme force. Brian never watched the video he just prosecuted me like the district attorney he “use to be “..must still be since he gave very little effort to work this down to a fine as I received two options in the mail prior to missing my preliminary hearing one option was to either not drive in the state of P.A for a year or 2nd option pay the suspension fee of 1500$…I chose not to drive for a year as my option and instead Brian telling the judge the mail was lost when I sent back my option to inform P.A I wouldn’t drive in the state of P.A for a year he ran a game on me to put me in a ARD program which I could have just represented myself to have go through all this shows that Brian care for clients are by his own choice and I know being Black is the major reason like I said he never even watched the police video footage just automatically looked to “convict” me Monroe county is small and he is friends with the judge of my case wouldn’t be surprised also if he knew the cop in my case.I didn’t get the justice I deserve as I was never DUI!

Brian Gaglione is by far the best attorney in the area. He’s great with communication and is very comforting in difficult times. He’s helped me with multiple cases and is very experienced and dedicated in what he does. My Mother was charged for allowing me to use her vehicle and he told me “not to worry he’ll be there to take care of it” and when he heard the story he didn’t even charge my mother for getting the ticket dismissed in court! So if you’re looking for an attorney that will truly try to help you he’s you’re guy!

If you need a lawyer for an automobile accident, personal injury, or other legal issue, please contact Michael Foley. He will not only fight for you until you win, but he will also make you feel like a family member. He is determined, knowledgeable, dedicated, and above all, compassionate. He goes above and beyond protocol to communicate with you every step of the journey. Another impressive trait about Mr. Foley is how amazingly well he works with young people. My son was 17 when he met in his tragic auto accident; Mr. Foley has not just been his attorney for the past four years, but also a mentor that consistently helps my son deal with his trauma.

June 24, 2020 My husband and I met and hired Michael Foley on the spot 30 years ago. He is totally knowledgeable, professional, dedicated to winning your case, and very easy to talk with. He is awesome in the courtroom, very impressive! He cares about family and will go above and beyond for you. If you have a question he doesn't know the answer to, and actually that would be extremely rare, he'd find the answer quickly for you. Call him - if he's not in, he'll return your call ASAP. He'll make himself available for whenever you need him. Trust me, you cannot go wrong with Michael Foley. I've been a gratified client for 30 years!

Attorney Walters was courteous and attentive to my legal needs. She knew exactly what needed to get done. She also didn't break the bank in terms of hourly rate or flat fee, I felt like I was really getting my money's worth and not being robbed. Highly recommended!

I found myself in a very tough economical situation and I felt lost with no where to go for help until I found Kim M. Diddio. I never thought I would ever have to file for bankruptcy but the struggle was real and this was my only way out. As soon as I went to see her, she made me feel like there was hope and she never gave up on me. She's a tough lawyer but she is also very kind and compassionate.......anyone that retains her will be just as blessed as I was to have her representing you. She was a blessing for me and she can be one for you as well. If you want the job done right give her a call.....you won't be disappointed.

Quite literally the best DUI lawyer in the state in my opinion. He’s very kind, and knowledgeable but even better he gives you the benefit of having your dui Defense on auto Pilot, you won’t have to stress every second about your case because while he’s handling it for you, he will also keep you up to date with everything going on and do whatever he can to get you to win your case. I spoke to a lot of lawyers and chose Brian over all of them simply because he’s good at what he does and he’s very impressionable.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
