Has helped me out for over 20years. He is the man to get if you want results. He is very knowledgeable. As a lawyer 10/10.. Now on a personal level he is truly a great man . Has a good heart and when he says he will get something done consider it done.

In a criminal case he Never reviewed the discovery, never discussed the issues of taking a plea vs going to trial. He works with the prosecutions side not yours. Did nothing for the case and he admitted he did nothing for the case. You would be better off defending yourself because you will get convicted using Watkins…the worse attorney because he just doesn’t care…and his oath to defend was him crossing his fingers behind his back!

I hired Attorney Watkins for a simple matter; someone wasn't truthful to a police officer and I was surprised when I discovered I was being charged at the magistrate office. I had a free consultation; he was thorough, attentive and very organized. I hired Attorney Watkins to represent me at my hearing; but my hearing was rescheduled for months later. Not only did he remember my case; he was prepared, he spoke on my behalf and all charges were withdrawn. Attorney Watkins also dispelled false information; I was being accredited with another woman's criminal record because she had a similar name! I would hire his office if I am in need of another attorney and highly recommend him.

Attorney Watkins recently represented me in a civil matter. His strong character and convictions were exemplified on numerous occasions and his persistence in following through to the end resulting in me receiving a judgment even greater than I expected. I have zero hesitation in recommending Mr. Watkins.

Attorney Watkins was excellent as a defense attorney in a jury trial for a restaurant/bar. He successfully defended my restaurant against a high profile Philadelphia attorney. I was very impressed and obviously happy with the results.

After leaving a very unsatisfactory meeting with our then attorney my husband and I we were not being adequately represented and sought a second opinion. A friend had referred us to Attorney Watkins upon calling and speaking with him he immediately rearranged his scheduled the very same day to meet with us as we were under a deadline our prior attorney had failed to inform us of. Had Bill not been so responsive and knowledgeable of the laws governing our situation we could have potentially missed an important filing. From the initial meeting and throughout the entire process Attorney Watkins remained on top of the situation, kept us apprised and never once failed to return a phone call or answer any questions we had. We had what was considered to be a difficult case involving a problem that many said we would never prevail upon as cases such as ours hardly ever result in reversals. Attorney Watkins presented a strong defense on our behalf, his presentation was clear concise and delivered the points needed to make our case. As a result the judge ruled in our favor. Bill informed us of the decision almost as soon as it was handed down. He took the time to inform us of what our next steps were and remained with us through fruition. If you want an attorney with a no nonsense approach who is straight forward and addresses your concerns then I would highly recommend Attorney Watkins and would not hesitate again to hire him.

I'm not sure if he normally does traffic tickets, he was recommended to me by a family friend, but he did when I called. He successfully got the speeding violation removed for me. He was very nice when we met and based on the pictures and such that were in his office, he is also active in the community a lot. I can't speak for his performance otherwise, but for a speeding ticket in Northeast PA, I definitely recommend Attorney Bill Watkin.

I have known Attorney Watkins for awhile and he represented me on both of my cases. He is very intelligent and caring. He put my mind at ease from the very beginning and kept me up to date with everything that was going on. if you are looking for someone who is looking for your best interest, and willing to listen and guide you through your worries during a difficult situation I would highly recommend him. He was knowledgable and has a good relationship with the courts. Attorney Watkins is always available to talk and overall I rate him a 10 out of 10.

Attorney Watkins handled my custody hearing. He is not like other attorneys I have dealt with, he truly cared about my children's best interest (and mine of course). He had great suggestions for my situation. We met before my hearing started, I was nervous, but his knowledge and caring personality helped put my nerves at ease. He informed me of all the possible situations that could happen and what my options would be. He also made an effort to make my children feel better about having to sit in a courthouse. I could not be happier with choosing Attorney Watkins to represent me.

About a year and a half ago I was drinking too much and got into a physical fight with my husband (who was also drinking too much) I assaulted him with a weapon bc I was scared but I had done this once before so I was looking at some jail time. My husband filed for divorce and pressed assault with a knife charges against me. Attorney Watkins was able to get me probation and no jail time! I couldn't believe it! Then he handled my divorce for me too. I called the office all the time bc I was so upset. His secretary talked to me most of the time but they kept me informed. I was very lucky that he's not one of those attorneys who charges for phone calls bc I called there at least twice a week! It is hard to reach him by phone bc he's really busy. Apparently Monroe County has him hired as an attorney for children and also as a public defender. I dont think the county would have him do those jobs if he wasnt a very good lawyer. I was able to make appointments to see him when I needed to so it was okay if I couldnt talk to him on the phone. He is the only lawyer I've found that doesn't rip you off with money and he even helped me to find a place to go so I could stop drinking. My divorce is final and I didn't have to go to jail for the problem with my ex-husband. I stopped drinking and was able to pay him without spending thousands and thousands of dollars. I am writing this bc I was mad when I saw what the other people wrote. When I went to him I asked him if he could keep me out of jail and he said he couldnt promise me that and he would never promise anyone that they wont go to jail bc he doesnt know what the judge will decide. So I dont believe that he told that other person they wouldnt go to jail. He probably said he would do the best he could to try to keep them out of jail and sometimes there is just no way to avoid it. Mr. Watkins is very kind and very fair. He's also really funny and helped me to get through a really bad time in my life. I would highly recommend him as an attorney.

Hired to a custody issue in September of 2010.Never returns phone calls. Never updates me on anything that is going on. Stated paperwork was sent to places, but they claim they never received anything from Him.Called today February 22nd, and still no phone call back.Thin he talked to me 2 times since hired. I asked for my retainer back, and i was told he would call, That was 1 month ago. I filed a complainant with the Board. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE HIRE HIM.
