I DO NOT RECOMMEND the court experience in any capacity, especially civil, as it is nether enjoyable or exhilarating! However if you do find yourself in a series of events in which you are forced to participate in this most awful experience , whether it be as plaintiff or defendant, Shari R Gelfont Williams is who you want in your corner for all matters of Family Law, VERY knowledgeable, SUPER responsive (text, email or general questions concerns) All around positive CAN DO ATITUDE!!! When I hired Caitlin Foley for my case I wasn’t sure what was going to happen but I have to say she is the best lawyer she was very intensive to my case never had to wait for a response was there to answer any of my questions and fought hard to get me what I deserved . In my opinion one of the best lawyers out there could not thank her enough for all she did for me

She is not a scrupulous attorney. Typical family lawyer who tried to milk billable hours and at the last minute reinserts stipulations that both parties previously agreed to remove. I guess you could call her aggressive but I think she acted in a very scummy way.

I highly recommend Michael! He helped my parents to obtain loan modification and stop foreclosure process.

My second mortgage home debt had been purchased by a slimy investor guy. I attempted to negotiate with this investor to payoff what I owed. He would offer me payoff terms and arrangements but then not honor the amounts or the payment schedule discussed in a prior conversation. I did not trust this person. I contacted Michael, he consulted me about my goals and available funds. For a very reasonable flat fee Michael negotiated the terms of the payoff and insured the paperwork would hold the investor to the agreement. Even with Michael’s representation the slimeball investor did not file the satisfaction of mortgage for 4 months causing me a lot of anxiety. One email from Michael and the satisfaction was filed. It should also be noted that in the middle of my dealings with this investor Michael had open heart surgery. His staff carried the torch and as soon as Michael was able to work again he jumped right back in! If you are reading poor reviews for Michael it is likely they are from this investor and his associates. During the process of my negotiations I watched Michael’s ratings fall. Having Michael represent me made me feel protected against this slimy investor. I honestly consider his fee to be some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I am 100% a real client!
