My experiance working with Micheal has been amazing through the whole process. He works very hard and he is a great lawyer who gets results. I had a couple things reported on my credit reports that were wrong and Micheal was able to fix them all and my credit score has gone up alot thanks to Micheal who worked hard to get me great results. I highly recommend Micheal he is a true professional and he cares about his clients.

When the mortgage company began screwing things up like switching my payments, I was at a loss with what to do. So, I took to the internet to find an attorney to help sort it all out. Having just completed law school, I was surprised at the kind of response one gets from simply looking around on the internet. A lot of attorneys say that they can help but as you delve deeper into conversation, it is easy to realize that they are willing to take a case even if it is not their expertise. I know its all so confusing and frustrating. Upon my first conversation with Michael, I knew that he was the attorney for me in that his knowledge of debt/mortgage/ foreclosure law was second nature. This is not something that he has to look up, but part of his very core. Michael life is a story of protecting people from evil creditors and getting their rights recognized. This is not merely some kind of figurative lawyer commercial - this is a fact. The precedent cases used to defend mine were actually litigated and won by Michael Forbes. Michael's cases are the law, I heard the Judge made mention of it many times in trial. Even though my case in no way has any promise of making a lawyer anymore than a normal wage, I received nothing less than the best legal defense. Michael armed our case with every possible legal defense, even if some aren't necessarily winners, overwhelming the bank's attentions. Well, it was quite the saga of trials. The bank withdrawing, then refiling and more trials which we won. Ten years of them to be exact. The whole decade Michael was with me step by step - actually checking in on me instead of visa versa. It is to be expected that Michael couldn't always be exclusively working just on my case over the years. However, when he was busy Nancy, his paralegal and wife, was always in constant communication caring just as much about my case as Michael- quite an impressive team indeed. Well, I'm sure what everyone wants to know - how did it all turn out? True to a good Michael's legal work, its technically confidential, but lets just say the bank is no longer an issue. Living in my house and the best life ever. I've owned a business for quite sometime which means I've had more than a few lawyers. There is none better than Michael Forbes. He would give you a good first impression, but as soon as you pay him he shows how much he doesn't care about your case. Lack of communication and unprofessional. Beware of the fake positive reviews from his staff and colleagues.

Unethical and a thief. Will take your money, will promise you that he dealt with your issue before and can guarantee result. As soon as you pay him, he will go quiet, then stop communicating without an answer and threaten to stop representing you if you keep contacting him. STAY AWAY. He will try to sweet talk you to paying without signing an agreement, then later claim money is nonrefundable and show you an agreement he never mentioned nor that you signed.

I am a previous client of Michael Forbes and was just looking him up to contact him again because I am $15 grand into my current lawyer and left desperate to get some legal advice from the only attorney I can say that I trust, even though it is not in his area of pratice. I happened to see this review and simply want to leave my personal experience and opinion of not only his handling of my case but on a personal level. I had contacted at least 50 attorneys to represent me and every single one hung up after I asked if they had any flexibility on the normally large retainer expected or alternative financial arrangements for payment. Most did not even listen to the outrageous events surrounding my case. I called Michaels office and spoke with Nancy, she was so kind and listened to me and genuinely cared about what I was saying. Nancy was fantastic and made me feel like she had nothing to do but listen to me, she told me Michael was busy and would have him call me back. Which he did, and he was a bit more quick on the phone, slightly less interested in the emotional parts that although, I felt the need to include, he knew they had no impact either way legally speaking. My case was by no means something to build a legal career on , or even add to a list of accolades for that matter - it was actually a miniscule little case in the grand scheme of thigs but he agreed to help me. So the screening process the last review suggest is not at all factual. He and I had numerous conversations over the 2 years he fought for me- ending with a resounding win- we butted heads sometimes over the phone because of his time constraints and slightly strong demeanor. With that said I try to be very understanding of the other persons view. I have come to realize how much he taught me over the course of all them phone calls, when I learned to listen that is.....lol. The fact you got a call back from any lawyer in a ten minute time frame should have been an indication of the caliber person he is. He is all about business and is looking to maximize his available time in order to serve his clients. To fault a lawyer for them characteristics is a mistake, trust me! So when calls and emails were not returned in a timely fashion - I would follow up and if still not returned - I would follow up again. No matter the rate of call or email exchange that I may have wanted , The fact is he always called, emailed when it was most important. I learned something that is a still a core part of how I live to this day. Most times offense is taken and not given. If you want a lawyer that has the time to talk at your every whim - your not looking for a good lawyer. You want a no nonsense, no time wasted, effective lawyer- then look no further.

Kim is very professional and responded to me every time I called or emailed. I am surprised to see the one and only negative response. My case was an emergency and I was helped immediately. The only time I know of that Kim was not able to work was following her first child being born. I don't know the particulars of the negative posting but I'm sure there was more to it than has been reported. Kim finalized my case in 2011 and it was very satisfactory and fair. She was all about what was best for the children.
