Highly recommend, professional to the highest degree & will chase after a fair decision with tenacity. I hired Shannon after I had a issue with my prior landlord, she was able to show that he was in the wrong, his contract was void & then later when I received a court date from a magistrate she took the case to the next court level & had a judgement in my favor.

Ms. McDonald was fantastic! She took considerable time (despite the agreed to flat fee) to ensure we were comfortable and that we understood the process. Then she made everything right. Amazing how hard it is to maneuver through the system. So glad she was on our side.

First, I hired Attirney McDonald for an appeal of a condo association matter. She drafted the appeal at the last moment and filed the appeal in the wrong court! During a related hearing in which I participated both the judge and opposing party's counsel pointed out a procedural error she was making. Needless to say, I was not successful in either that hearing or in my appeal that McDonald handled for me. And when I decided to exhaust my remaining appeal opportunity to the Pa. Supreme Coury McDonald gave me incorrect advice telling me that I had 90 days to initiate an appeal when in reality I had only 30 days to file the required writ of certiorari. Second, while the first matter was going on, McDonald also prepared for me litigation which was dismissed by the court because the issues had already been litigated in the prior case! And Attorney McDonald knew this because she handled the prior case! Attorney McDonald lead me on a wild goose chase for over seven months with this new litigation and would not refund any of my legal fees that I paid to her. She then refused to participate in binding arbitration per the terms of our agreement. When I took our fee dispute to court, she even claimed she was not acting as my attorney while she was preparing legal documents for me! Attorney McDonald is an absolutely terrible attorney. She caused me many problems and solved none, and lived up to none of them. Stay far far away!

Legal services at it's best. You get help fast, never feel like you have competing interests with your lawyer, never get charged more when less will do, and always get extra advice thrown in to avoid issues in the future.

Recently, my business had some correspondence regarding a mortgage which had been paid off a decade earlier. On the recommendation of a friend, I phoned Attorney McDonald. She was able to research the matter, contact the Industrial Development board which had issued the mortgage, which had been paid off on time, with never a late payment, and obtained the release of lien. She said it was a relatively simple matter, but property liens are never simple when they involve your property. Thank you, Ms. McDonald!

Ms McDonald helped us in a dispute with our apartment managers who attempted to charge us 4 months rent when we broke the lease though the terms should have been read otherwise. With minimal legal fees, we avoided huge arguments with them and they agreed to only charge us 1 month rent.
