Heather was the best attorney I could’ve asked for. She kept me up to date and informed with all my court dates and requirements. If I had questions, she was always available to talk. I would highly recommend Heather for any case!

Very detailed and organized operation from top to bottom. We had the pleasure of working with John Herrold, Andrew Herrold, and Barb Smith. They handled our estate planning with ease. Thanks GHHR!

She will not put in the work once she has your money! Heather was recommended to my boyfriend by someone who he, at the time, took his suggestions highly, but not so much after this one. She was very eager to make sure she had my check in hand and did not do much of anything thereafter. When she visited him the first time, he had to ask her about applying for a program to reduce jail time, she knew nothing about this program yet she specializes in DUI cases. When she finally got the paperwork to him, he had to tell her he didn't qualify, she never looked into it. She never came to see him before pre-trial or the sentencing hearing to go over what would happen or work up a deal. On the day of sentencing she did show up, however, she left before it was over saying she supposedly had an appointment and that her assistant was there if he needed anything. Mind you, this was scheduled far enough in advance that she should not have scheduled something else over it. He paid her to be there, not her assistant. On-top of it, her assistant was siding with the prosecution and not representing their client. Again, she never worked a deal at sentencing. The prosecution originally recommended 1 to 3 years but come sentencing day she got him more time, with a sentence of 1.5 to 8 years. We have heard from multiple people that have used her that they hired her and that she is horrible. I wish we knew that then! I get you can't win them all, but you can at least try! I would recommend a public defender before Heather, they will at least show up and try.

Where to begin, before you hire her she WILL call you weekends, evenings, etc. But once she has your money: don't expect much attention from her at her, especially when it comes to actually working on your case. I hired her & at the very beginning she was "going to defend me with everything she had", until she saw how much evidence/work had to be done and then it was all over for me, "my goose was cooked". Granted, I wasn't able to keep making bi-weekly payments due to getting fired constantly because of the charges but I paid an initial decent amount upfront & she said at that time she was accepting it knowing she probably won't get the other $1,000 but was okay with that. That was her words. And I did pay some towards the $1,000 I still owed but it made no difference.
She has refused to do any pretrial motions, made major decisions effecting my case without even checking with me. I kept begging & pleading with her to do the stuff that needed done but it fell on "deaf ears". Would you believe she hasn't even listened to my full story of what happened from beginning to end yet (and trial starts tomorrow and it's a pretty big involved case) even thou I said to her multiple times I need to tell her please. The list goes on and on but final thing I want to mention is: she has had discovery for two months or so and I just saw there was a whole cd of evidence the police/prosecution didn't give us and she never looked close enough at the police reports to catch it. And when I told her: she had the attitude of "oh well" and did nothing. She definitely doesn't want to take any case to trial, she is what I would consider a "plea bargin attorney" and the problem with that is some times a plea can't be worked out. And watch out when she says she will try to get a better plea offer: she said that to me and instead it became a worse offer!! I would stay as far away as you can from this attorney and you know it must be really bad if I'm writing this while she is still my attorney, no, I fired her, but in our great system it may happen the judge won't let her withdraw so I can get a public defender. So I may get screwed but writing this so others don't get screwed!!! Update: yeah judge wouldn't let me fire her (let her withdraw), used scare tactics to force me into a plea, yeah I could have not taken the plea but would have definitely been convicted with her as my attorney and gotten a lot more time so what other choice did I have? If only Heather had put some effort into "going into battle" instead of "plea mode" I may have be able to tell everyone the truth (that I was innocent) and gotten the justice I deserved.

I was very unhappy with my experience at this law firm. The person representing my son did nothing to prepare or fight for his case. I felt I had to stand on my own to defend my son for something he was innocent of doing. We were basically told to admit guilt, when my son was not!
Also, I asked the lawyer to recommend to me the best in their firm, to begin proceedings against our false accuser; and I never heard back from her. $750 later, I feel ripped off! Never again!

Attorney Heather Reynosa is a lawyer whom will work very hard for you and gives the clients attention that their case requires. She most certainly rates the highest in my opinion. You can count on her to give the guidance and concern for your case. She is with you all the way. I recommend her and Attorney Dean Reynosa for your case.
