Angelica was phenomenal during my recent traffic court case. Her professionalism was second to none and truly listened to all my concerns and questions throughout. We not only were able to get the outcome we had hoped for but also avoided additional court fees. Appreciate Angelica being there for me during this time and would recommend her to anyone!

If you're reading these reviews, I'm sure you're nervous for what's to come (whatever that may be), and you may be thinking "can they even help me?", "can I even afford the help?". With David Ellison Law you can rest assured that you are in good hands, and that you are paying a fair price. I've worked with lawyers before that never seem to remember you or your case. That is the opposite of how David Ellison Law functions. Both David and Allyson made me feel heard, and above all else cared for in the realm of law and court that many of us find to be alien. I never doubted them and their valuable work, even in the tough position I found myself in. Hopefully I will never need their help again, but I know who I will be recommending to any who find themselves in a similar position.

Best Law Firm in Rhode Island I recommend to anyone that is needs to be represented in court. I was client of Jason Ollman’s in my recent case and I couldn’t have done it with out his excellent work and professionalism that Jason provided. I give a big thanks to Jason and his team( Marin, Barrett, and Murphy Law Firm) for helping in my case.

Best attorney!!! Very professional!!!
If i express my feelings in this one review that might not be enough, but i will try!!
I got a moving violation ticket on 5th August at night time in Newport by a state trooper for a turn signal. I drive for uber and i already had 3 tickets on my name in last 3 years. I was about to loose my access to the platform and other rideshare apps too. I was so much in panic and stress so i start searching for a solution and i got connected on a google link which connected me with Angelica, where i left a message and said need help, was not even expecting a message response, but she called me the next day which was a SUNDAY even and took all my stress away and told me to relax. She really mean it and took all the stress away from me and assured me she can and will handle it. And Yes she did it.
5th September and she dismissed my ticket. She definitely knows what she is doing. i wish i could give her more than 5 stars but at least i can leave this review and let everyone know that She is the one you will need when you’re really in need.

I was recently represented by David Ellison law and attained a not guilty verdict. This was vital, as school (law) was just about to start for me as well as work, and if found guilty I would have faced many hardships, none of which would have been reasonable as I was and remain innocent. I almost represented myself. I'm glad I didn't. I'm a law student, a black man, and a person who is very much interested in speaking for himself, so frankly I had little confidence that anyone, much less folks that don't have a similarly shared lived experience, would be able to advocate for me effectively. I spoke to a trusted professor, a black female attorney, and shared with her my reservations. It was at this point I was referred to David Ellison Law. I'm not a a lawyer just yet, but with my being represented by Ellison Law and their referral coming from a lawyer... this makes David Ellison literally a lawyer's lawyer. And Allyson Quay is certainly a lawyer's lawyer as well. She delivered the opening and closing arguments with measured force and nuance. Dave handled the direct examinations of, and shredded the cross examinations of the witnesses at trial.
I know I've mentioned race a couple times. With that said it is important to point out that this case was NOT a "race based" case per se. Surely I have my suspicions and ideas about a possibly pretextual nature to any of my police initiated interactions with police, yet here is where the artful and empathetic treatment of my case by my attorneys became apparent. They understood and understand me. They know and are aware of the legal history of this country. They did not ignore race, they (we) incorporated it in a way to simply garner some deserved consideration or empathy for my position while not using it as an accusatory device against the police.
Ellison Law really helped the course of my life. I am eternally grateful. This is no exaggeration. This "journey" (god I hate that word) that we went on together, was an invaluable experience for me. A black law student went through a whole trial as the defendant! And won! And it will probably end up being helpful case law for other defendants in the future! I'd do it all again. Getting to see justice work like this has put more wind in my sails and has me more confident than I have ever been that when you get to the courtrooms there are some reasonable minds making judgements out there.
Perhaps most importantly... Even if we lost I would be this satisfied with David Ellison Law. They promised me zealous, sympathetic/empathetic advocacy and that is what I got. Before the trial began I was so skeptical... wondering about the money. What are they doing with the money? What am I paying for? When that trial started it was clear. I felt happy. It felt worth it. I knew whether I won or lost it was a fair price and I would not begrudge them. When I won... I kinda felt I got away with something. All of a sudden I felt like I didn't pay enough... let me check that, I'm not trying to be the cause for rate hikes; At the end of trial I found myself wishing I were in a more financially sound position so I could give them more.
I couldn't recommend this office more highly.
Thank you David.
Thank you Allison.

David went out of his way to help me get the best deal possible after I made some less than genius legal choices. His response time has always been impeccable and he was not at all intimidating to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

Working with Jason Ollman has been fantastic. He was able to reduce the charges against me and ultimately earned me a favorable outcome compared to what I expected at the onset of my case. Even since the end of my trial, Jason has continued to help me by making sure I am addressing everything required of me and has even followed up with the DMV on my behalf to address a clerical error. I am very glad that I chose Marin, Barrett and Murphy because of the tremendous representation provided by Jason Ollman.

Jason Ollman handled a DUI case for me in which there were extenuating circumstances. He was professional, worked expediently, and produced the best possible result. I have asked him to send business cards to me so that I can refer him to friends and family. I would refer him to anyone.

I was recently a client of Jason Ollman's, and based on that experience I would gladly recommend his services to anyone looking for an excellent defense attorney. He met and often exceeded all the standards of consummate professionalism in the field, being thorough, communicative about the legal process and expectations, clear about my options and his strategy, and was punctual and easy-going. He was comfortable and familiar with court procedures and the text of the law. More than that, though, as became evident to me as I watched his interactions with other court officers was that he is well-regarded and liked among his peers, which is a hugely underrated asset for a trial attorney to have, making the difference in the margin between being his client being well-treated by the judge or not, and being able to bargain effectively with the prosecution for favorable terms in negotiation. That's the kind of edge that is truly valuable and can't be faked or manufactured.
