David is a great attorney. Whenever I have a legal question, he always makes sure to make time for me. He listens and pays attention. He is very intelligent and has helped me a few different times. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a lawyer.

Dave is a good guy who will treat you with dignity and respect, even if you made a mistake or did something wrong. He will protect your rights in the legal system. He is honest and fair and I highly recommend him. You can trust him, and that's worth a lot!

I met Dave years ago at a legal training and we worked together for a year. As an appellate attorney who reviews trial attorneys for a living, I think there are two keys to being a good attorney: (1) do they care, and (2) do they think outside the box? The answer to both is a huge YES for Dave. His passion for the law and compassion for his clients is what drives him. This is more than a job! If he won the lottery tomorrow, he'd still be a lawyer, and that says a lot about a person. He's creative, analytical, and smart, too. He stares problems in the face until a solution appears. It wasn't abnormal for me to come to him as soon as I ran into a wall in my cases, and we'd spent hours discussing how to get around these walls and coming up with brand-new defenses. He isn't afraid to argue something new, and also isn't afraid to keep challenging the status quo. If I ran into trouble in Rhode Island, he is literally the first person I would call.

Everyone makes mistakes in life, no one is perfect. Whether it's due to bad choices, poor decision making or letting your emotions get the better of you. Bad things can happen to good people. I made just such a mistake recently and was very fortunate to have a friend refer me to Mr. Macktaz's office.
