I was pulled over for a DUI recently before the winter 2014. I am Massachusetts resident and the incident happened in Rhode Island which it made very tough for me find a good lawyer that could help the case. Luckily, I found Joshua, as he was recommended and rated as one of the top DUI attorney in Rhode Island. Joshua is very knowledgeable with DUI cases, and he is a very straight shooter. He is very driven to win your case, and advocating on your behalf so that you get the minimum charges. He is very professional and informative. He is very sure of the process, and would give you great confidence entering the courthouse everytime. I had my 1st DUI in Massachusetts, so this DUI in Rhode Island would be my second time. However, with Joshua instructions and help, I was able to get off this DUI charge, and only be charged with refusal of Breathalyzer. The outcome was the best that I could hope for. The conclusion was that I was found not guilty of the DUI, and later, he would go to court to have my record of this incident sealed. In all, I was very pleased with having Joshua to help with me this case. His fee was very affordable, and the service and help that he provided were unmeasurable. Let me first say that I would recommend Joshua Macktaz to represent anyone in Rhode Island's court system. Having worked for years within the State of Rhode Island and been in a position where I dealt directly with the police departments around the state, I have documented, first hand knowledge of the corruption within. The power that they, the police have taken away from the general public is a disgrace, simply because of the complacency of the thin blue line, the police want a win at any cost.
