My first experience with a lawyer and would never chose another! Josh Macktaz quickly responded within hours, sometimes minutes later to any questions that I had about my case. He kept me assured throughout the entire process that we would get the very best results possible. He was very straight forward about the results that I could expect. The part I appreciated the most was that there was no nonsense, this lawyer tells it exactly like it is and wont sugar coat anything for you. Josh made one phone call and got me back my property that the police were holding because it did not apply to my case. Due to his diligence and hard work on my case I had two charges dismissed allowing me to have peace of mind and stay happily with my family. Can't thank Josh enough for everything he did! Couldn't be more thankful for Josh. Got into trouble in Rhode Island on vacation and being from Connecticut I was very worried about finding a lawyer. I was facing my 3rd conviction of DUI which has a mandatory jail term. with Mathew I worked out a plea agreement and got no jail time and only lost my license for 1 year. Matt does, what he say's he's going to do. I wouldn't suggest going to court without him.

So I was pulled over by a DUI task force in northern Rhode Island on 4th of July weekend. I had blown a .16 on the scene, and then later refused the chemical testing at the station. I was being charged with DUI/DWI, refusal to take a chemical test, and reckless driving. After my first initial meeting with Macktaz I knew he was the right guy for the job. From the first day we met he told me every single step that was going to happen in the case in chronological order. Every time we walked into the court room he was greeted with nothing but respect and admiration by everyone from the clerks to the prosecutor and judge. Long story short he was able to get me off on all charges and it resulted in me losing my license for only a month (that's how long it took to close the case). If you have a DUI this is your guy

Someone very dear to me found himself in the need for a lawyer while in RI to defend him in court. Mr. J. Macktaz, found through an internet search for great Providence area lawyers was the lawyer he decided to hire after meeting with him for a free consultation; and I have to say that's the best decision he has made yet in his life. Attorney Mackatz is the best there is; he knows the law and command respect in the court room. He is fair and responsible, treats you with respect as a client. I had the opportunity to see him with his client and also in court. l would definitely have him represent me if I were to be in any legal problem in Rhode Island.
