We had squatters at our mobile home park for 18 years. The woman was very pleasant and did pay her rent, but the building was unkept and in bad need of repairs it also had a tax burden of thousands of dollars owed to the town. Eventually the building inspector condemned the building. We are a resident owned community, and the occupant was not qualified to live here. We tried everything to help even finding a pro-bono lawyer to represent them for probate but after 18 years it was not an easy task. After exhausting all avenues, we hired Palumbo law to evict them. It was a process, but we did get them evicted. Then came the probate/tax problem of which the town had a lien against the home. Amanda one of Palumbo's paralegals got to work and chased down answers on how to proceed with the town. We were able to settle with the town and we can now remove the condemned building. Thanks to the Palumbo team!
