When you finally realize you can’t pay the debt you have incurred, it’s embarrassing, and you feel like a failure. We finally decided to go on a consult about filing bankruptcy, and we were referred to John Simonian by another attorney. When we met with John, we were nervous, humiliated, and defeated. He was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and kind, and made us feel at ease right away. He explained the process and exactly what would happen. He also was available for any questions we had, and when I would email him, he got back to me right away. I really appreciated his quick responses and his kindness and understanding during the process. He made us feel better about our situation and always treated us with respect and dignity. Atty John Simonian was recommended to me by a friend and coworker. At first I was so hesitant and nervous and didn’t want to claim bankruptcy and thought I would try and fix my debts myself. I received a collection letter that was a 15 year old debt that I never thought would come back to haunt me, but it did and that’s when I called and scheduled the consult. We would like to take a moment to recommend John Simonian as an exceptional bankruptcy lawyer. We cannot begin to tell you how low we felt to come to the realization that due to our own poor planning and health issues which reduced our income to one paycheck, we were in financial ruin. We sought out high interest loans and even thought about letting our home go to repossession, with little time left we found an ad for John Simonian in our local village paper. Feeling we had nowhere else to go, we gave him a call, within days we were sitting in John's office going over our very limited options. Our goal was to try and save our home and continue to pay as much as we could to our debtors. John put us in a position where we could keep our home, and pay as much of our debt back as we possibly could and keep a certain amount of our dignity. John was very clear on what we needed to do to succeed, there were things we had to change in regards to understanding our financial responsibilities. After 3 years of being in the program John had set us up in, and having been released from our bankruptcy we could start new and since have focused on being fiscally responsible so as not to fall into the same situation again.
