John is my go to attorney for any situation or legal matter… John is very professional and gets the job done. John is great at communication and is very knowledgeable about the law. I myself have learned a few laws just by speaking to him. John has helped in multiple family matters and has been there in difficult times and continues to be by our side. I am a wife & mother of two. I hired Attorney John Pensa when my police officer husband put a restraing order on me. The police also charged me criminally and was trying to arrest me. There was a lot of false accusations because my husband was scared I was going to the police to report him first. I called the law office of Calcagni and Attorney Pensa got me in the same day. He was patient, understanding and kind. He heard my entire case and took the lead immediately.Attorney Pensa contacted the police on my behalf. He convinced the police to read me the summons over the phone so I would not be arrested or have to go in. Pensa quickly drafted up letters for my husband to drop the criminal charges. Pensa talked to my divorce lawyers on many occasions & also to my husbands attorneys. He met with me several times and read all my long emails that I sent him daily. He showed up in court 4 times to fight for me. Pensa got the criminal charges dropped which was HUGE. He worked so hard to get the restraining order dropped and did a great job in court unfortunately I do need to go back in one year due to the extension. If you are looking for a Criminal defense attorney who will give you his all and fight for you hard and has amazing communication , do not hesitate to hire this firm. They were fair with their cost and kept to their word on their fees. They did not over charge me and were very generous.
