I found myself in the horrible circumstance of an unexpected/unplanned divorce amidst the worst time of my life. I was new to Rhode Island and had no idea what to do, or who to call, who was good, or who wasn't. Assalone & Associates is so much more than your average law firm. They work as a team and are there for you around the clock. (Veronica literally answers the phone herself on a Saturday!) I worked one on one with most of the team associates, however my physical attorney was Stephanie Diorio. Stephanie was nothing short of incredible. She is kind, wise, understanding, knowledgeable and not intimidated by a thing. She not only helped me with my custody matter, she became an important person in my life who I could trust with serious issues pertaining to my case. She never made a promise she couldn’t keep and we where able to reach our goal because of her due diligence. Over the last year she has helped me be more confident and set boundaries; something I’d never thought I’d have once my case was officially closed. (Yay!) Words cannot express how grateful I am I passed their sign in Coventry! The strongest group of woman I have even encountered in my life. 5 stars is not enough for the wonderful group of professionals in this office. After searching for a new attorney to handle some post divorce issues, I was introduced to Stephanie Diorio. Her professionalism and ability to navigate the family court system were something I had never experienced after coming from an attorney who did not fight for myself or my children during my actual divorce. Not only was she able to tie up my loose ends from my divorce, but was able to calm my nerves and give me the peace of mind I needed in order to be the best parent I could be. She listened and gave me sound advice on everything going on post divorce. Her and her team were extremely helpful, attentive, and were always in communication with me every step of the way. I honestly cannot say thank you enough to her and her team for the support they provided at one of the most stressful times in my life.
