Assalone and Associates have helped me navigate within the family court system on many occasions. The paralegals are kind and professional on the phone, in person, and written communication. Stephanie D'Orio was my counsel most recently and I knew she would be a great fit after my first conversation with her. Her knowledge and experience helped me understand the legal system and put my situation into perspective. Stephanie was professional, prompt, and most importantly, she understands the emotional toll that divorce has on a mother and the children. Divorce is a difficult, complicated process full of emotions, financial considerations, legal documents, and timelines. 5 stars is not enough for the wonderful group of professionals in this office. After searching for a new attorney to handle some post divorce issues, I was introduced to Stephanie Diorio. Her professionalism and ability to navigate the family court system were something I had never experienced after coming from an attorney who did not fight for myself or my children during my actual divorce. Not only was she able to tie up my loose ends from my divorce, but was able to calm my nerves and give me the peace of mind I needed in order to be the best parent I could be. She listened and gave me sound advice on everything going on post divorce. Her and her team were extremely helpful, attentive, and were always in communication with me every step of the way. Funnily enough, I found Assalone & Associates by reading reviews such as this one when I was contemplating filing for divorce after 30+ years of marriage. The reviews were thoughtful and heartfelt with a high level of client satisfaction. After meeting with Jennifer, and her being the only lawyer I consulted with, I decided that this was the firm for me once I had decided to take that big step. I loved how she described the mentoring process within the office with the more senior members guiding and teaching the junior members of the team. I experienced this firsthand with Jennifer, Delanie, Rose and Brandy. The entire team is highly organized and all have incredibly quick response times to messages. They also have cultivated relationships with other female professionals, who they referred me to, for help navigating the world of financial planning and mortgages. I also found the software platform they use for communication, documents, scheduling and payments to be very easy to use and this in itself made the process much easier to manage with information always available to me whenever I needed access to it. Little did I know that Jennifer had experience with pensions and this knowledge this played an important part in helping me navigate what could have been a very lopsided battle without her by my side crunching numbers and scenarios in order to give me the best outcome for my situation. We had several times where we thought we were close to a settlement only for that not to be the case, but her optimism never flagged and Jen (and team) continued to fight for me up to the very end, working hard to avoid us from going to trial.
