The Law Office of Janet Goldman is hands down 5 star ! She gets the job done quickly and with a smile on her face. Mrs. Goldman is not only very professional but also caring & understanding. You are lucky to have her as an attorney.

I don’t recommend working with this office for real estate transactions. They have no idea what’s going on most of the time. Poor management and communication skills, and lack of professionalism can’t even begin to describe my experience with them. The whole buying process went very smoothly until after closing. I was supposed to get a check after closing. I called 4 days after closing asking if the check was ready for pickup and they told me that they mailed it to me but there was a problem with the check. They asked me to call the next day to see if the problem has been resolved. I called the next day and was told that the check has been mailed to my new address on the day of closing and that there’s no problem with the check. I said well it’s been a week since closing and I’ve not received it and I was told there was a problem with the check yesterday! Then they said I can come pick it up anytime from the office. So I went to the office 4 days after that. They actually tried to tell me that I’m not supposed to get any money back at closing. I actually had to explain to them where that money was coming from. Then they asked me to wait another day.. and if I didn’t receive the check they will issue me a new one. So I did. I called and told them that I’ve not received yet so they shipped a new check to my address overnight and I received it today only to find out it was less than what I was supposed to get! So I called AGAIN to ask why it was less, and ofc they had no idea why it was less so now I’m waiting for them to figure it out. So I called AGAIN the next day to follow up and they told me that they will send me a check of $35 and that the title company charged for that but they are deducting it from their fee. So on top of everything.. there was a miscalculation! I’m beyond astonished at the lack of professionalism I’ve experienced. And given all the other reviews.. you just can’t not see how poorly this business is managed. Never again!

I went through such a dark time in my life recently and let me say Janet & Rebecca were my light at the end of it all. Not only are they personable, compassionate, they are nonjudgmental which was very important to me. They were detailed and dedicated to me, they made you feel like you were the only case that mattered to them. I am so beyond thankful and grateful for them. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Going through one of the most difficult times of my life, Janet approached my bankruptcy with a business like approach, and also with a sense of humanity. She was honest about all of the situations and scenarios, providing her insight into the best path forward, while not committing to the path until she had all the information. There was no salesmanship or promises, just honesty and compassion. Grateful to find her and her firm to handle my challenges.

I found Attorney Goldman to be very well versed in her profession and very patient no matter how many times you call her. If she does not have the answer at that time she will get it and get right back to you as soon as possible. I highly recommend Attorney Goldman and would use her in the future if needed. A. Smith

Meeting Janet a little over 3 years ago was the best decision I’ve ever made. Once I explained the situation and amount of stress I was under, Janet took on the challenge and began working my case immediately. The thing that impressed me the most was how she made it a point to take her time to explain and break down the process of what was going to be happening, so that I had a clear understanding of what to expect. Most lawyers I’ve dealt with in the past takes your money, then you go on a mission chasing them down to do what they say they would do. Janet went above and beyond for me and for that I am forever truly grateful, and she now have a client for life. I would and will definitely recommend her/law firm to anyone that needs legal counseling/services.

Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe the nature of the attorneys and staff at this office. My husband and I closed on a home on Friday. We originally had an appointment for 10:00am which was pushed back until 2:00pm the day before closing by the attorney’s office with no explanation. When we arrived a few minutes early, the receptionist was nowhere to be found and after waiting for about ten minutes, she told us we were too early and suggested we go wait in our car on a 100 degree summer day. When we hesitated, she said she would go see if another attorney was available to help us. There was, and off we went to start things. The attorney never introduced himself to us, I only know his name because of all of the documents we signed together. Throughout the process, we brought up several times that we needed the closing to be recorded to the town by the end of their business day and asked if this was plausible. He assured us it was, but kind of shrugged and remarked that it should have no impact on us getting our keys and moving in, and if there were any issues, to have the seller’s realtor give him a call. After closing, we went to pick up our keys and of course, the realtor informed us that the closing had not yet been recorded. She made several calls to the attorney’s office who assured her it was submitted, but the town had no record of any closing being submitted at any point. This went on for over an hour before the town hall closed for the weekend and we were told we would be unable to move in to our new home. Now we have nowhere to live and no idea when this is going to be rectified. I am appalled at the cavalier attitude of the attorney we dealt with and their sheer ineptitude to be able to complete such a simple task.
