I have now had the opportunity to work with two members of the law firm of Thurmond, Kirchner, Timbes & Yelverton, PA. I work in the field of law, as well, so have the benefit of having been on both sides of the table. Michael Timbes assisted my husband and myself in the pursuit of a collection matter that was very personal to us. Michael handled it very skillfully and professionally, at all times balancing our expectations with reality, which was no small task. The firm has an excellent support staff. Michael's assistant, Moira, was always responsive to our requests, and was ever pleasant and helpful in doing so. Over all, I think the majority of our emails and phone calls were returned the same day. The matters that lead us to an attorney are often unpleasant--whether it's collection, bankruptcy, family law or a probate matter, lawyers see us when we're at a low point in our lives. Michael obtained an excellent resolution to our matter, which in turn enabled us to put it behind us and move forward. We would refer him to friends and family without hesitation, and if circumstances ever warrant our need for legal assistance again in the future, we will return to their firm.

I would use Matt any time you need a lawyer. I was injured by no fault of my own. The insurance company played games with me and wouldn't offer fair compensation. Matt went to bat for me and got my case settled. His firm really cares about their clients.

Not knowing anyone in the lawyer business one has to go on hope that you get a good lawyer, a referral or an advertisement . I, many years ago had hired the WORST incompetent lawyer with low character ever, I, back then was young and naive. I had the good fortune to have gotten a referral to Chris Romeo and immediately felt confident that I had a good lawyer as he exudes character, honesty and integrity. Character matters when it comes to someone who is handling your personal affairs. He did what he said he was going to do and did it on time.
