On December 22, 2020, my life changed forever. That is the day I received the call every parent and child fears. My father and daughter had been involved in an accident with a semi-truck while traveling northbound on the highway to go help a friend change a tire. That is how I met Brian Mickelsen of Mickelsen Dalton. From the first phone call to the mediation conference to finally getting the settlement from the trucking company, Brian treated us like family. He flew to North Dakota to meet us during a snowstorm because he wanted to see with his eyes the injuries sustained by my father and to meet my daughter who had suffered a traumatic brain injury. When my father died from complications from cancer from not being able to get treatment, he needed due the injuries from accident Brian listened to me cry for an hour just telling me that he was going to make sure that the trucking paid for the suffering my dad went through. When I wanted to give up because it was all too much on me taking care of my daughter and losing my father Brian made sure to let me know he was there fighting with me and for me. Whenever I had a question or something was bothering me, he was there to answer questions even at midnight some nights. Mickelsen Dalton means it when they say their clients are family because that is how they treat you. Even after the case was finalized, Brian still reaches out to see how my daughter is doing with her TBI. I would recommend them to everyone who needs a personal injury attorney, because they are not just attorneys, they become your family.
