Great law firm.

I had a messy gender based defamation case as the plaintiff. I tried to work with other lawyers, usually resulting in me leaving them. Once I got released as a client for disagreeing with lawyer! Joe always acted with integrity and treated me with dignity. I can promise you that wasn’t always the case with other lawyers. He let me share my thoughts and together we collaborated and worked as a team. I got favorable results in the face of much pressure. I know he has a bright career ahead, undoubtedly. Thank you, as a client-a woman-US veteran-minority-a victim-a latter friend.

I was always able to reach someone when I had a question or concern. Although this was a long process, they were always on top of the process and moving to the next step without me having to push things along. I appreciated that. I also really enjoyed getting to know Eric and Will as my attorneys. They were respectful, professional and I was a person to them, not a bottom line. I’d use them again in a heart beat.

I don’t know anyone who would choose to be in a car accident but unfortunately I have been in quite a few. This will be the first time I have ever left a review in regards to one of these unfortunate events, but I think it’s important to make informed decisions and I’m known to be honest and direct. I first discovered Cavanaugh and Thickens after an accident in 2019. One of the things I noticed and appreciated most was how Mr. Joe Thickens explained everything to me during the process. I had many questions and he took the time to address everyone of them and not once did I feel rushed or that my questions were insignificant. At the end of 2020, New Years Eve, I was hit by a hit and run drunk driver. I called Cavanaugh and Thickens and to make a long story short, Joe went after every dollar available to my children and I. He did this with professionalism, empathy, patience, kindness, thoroughness and integrity. I value my experience with this law firm and wouldn’t think to use anyone else, God forbid I should ever be in another accident.
