I have worked with this law firm, to resolve a case from a year ago. From the visit in the hospital, to coming by the house to check on me, I never felt like I was in this case by myself. The firm was always available ( including by cell phone)!!! And after hours to resolve any issues or concerns. I will continue to seek their services in the future. I had the great pleasure of being represented by Eric on a workers compensation matter. He was my legal counsel for 6 months. He is a tough, no-nonsense attorney who knows his stuff. Julie, the paralegal, is great! She is very accessible, responds promptly to all communication, and was very personable. What I respected most about Julie is, although the paralegal, she was very insightful and knowledgeable of all court proceedings, law, and process as they pertained to my case. She provides a great balance for Eric's no-nonsense approach. He and Julie were by my side every step of the way, throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, i did not have much contact with Joseph till the very end of my case when it came to negotiations. He provided great counsel and advise. I trusted him and could tell that he wanted what was best for me. In addition to, each and every time I walked into the office, Travena (sp?), the firm's receptionist warmly greeted me, offered me water, and made sure my parking meter was taken care of. The entire Cavanaugh & Thickens team fought very hard to ensure that I received what was owed to me. But just as important, they showed genuine care for me and my situation. The office operates as one, each team member pulling together to ensure that their clients receives the upmost reliable, flawless and efficient representation/services. I highly recommend them.

We were involved in a car accident and the other party was 100% at fault. After months of trying to deal with the responsible party’s insurance we decided to get an attorney involved. I was involved in an automobile accident with minor injuries. My first experience ever being involved in an accident and was in need of legal assistants. Mr. Thickens was referred to me and I am very happy that he was, being anxious and nervous about the whole situation he was able to provide professional and knowledgeable legal help. This accident was not my fault as the other driver was driving under the influence. He explained everything incredibly well and was always available if I had a question, he showed up to each court date on time which really help put my mind at ease.
