Mr. Callas represented me well, helped me give important information to Social Security that I wouldn't have thought of, and guided me through the process with expert advice. I used a well-known national firm the first two times I applied for disability, and it took two years just to get denied both times. I had a different representative every time I called in (that firm NEVER called me or offered any real guidance), it took days or even weeks sometimes to get a simple question answered, and I never met or spoke to my "attorney" until 20 minutes before the hearing; I'm being absolutely literal. Mr. Callas, on the other hand, was very quick to respond - both on the phone and by e-mail - and personally called to tell me that I had been approved for disability...after only SIX MONTHS! That's right - what took two years for the so-called "big boys" in New York to do, unsuccessfully, Mr. Callas was able to accomplish in six months. I realize that my results may be atypical, but on the very first day that I spoke to him, Nick told me that my case looked promising and that he estimated about six months before completion; I was hopeful but skeptical, however, he was spot on. If you are in need of a disability attorney, you should make an appointment to see Nick. I called two other firms here in Columbia, but frankly I wasn't impressed with them over the phone, so I knew that meeting in person would likely be just as bad. Seriously, Nick Callas is an expert at what he does, and he will be honest with you as to the merits of your case and time frame. If I haven't already said so, Thank you, Nick!
