I hired Nick for my divorce and I couldn’t be more pleased. Nick was honest, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I have had horrible experiences in the past with attorneys and I was nervous about using another attorney. But Nick was fantastic from the first meeting. He detailed everything about what he would be doing and how he would handle the details of my case. When I had questions he answered them, honestly. If I called or emailed him he responded quickly and with great knowledge. Nick does what he says he’s going to do. That is a rare trait among lawyers. His fee structure was the most reasonable and simple one I’ve ever seen. I will be using Nick as my attorney going forward for any reason in the future. I have that much trust in his character and ability.

I am very satisfied with how quickly and efficiently with my experience was, and the outcome of my case represented by Nicholas Mermiges. I recently have been through a custody battle with my 3 year old's father, never married. I consulted with a few other local highly reputable custody attorneys whom specialized in similar situations over prior months. I was told these lawyers wouldn't be able to devote their time to our inevitably drawn out and ugly battle. My child wasn't worth fighting for in their eyes, but Nick made it clear that he valued my child's protection and safety. I was referred to this practice while catching up with an old friend, and I feel so blessed. I met Nick for a consultation and had no doubt that I was done looking for the most qualified. He listened to me and recognized how critically the situation affected my daughter. We were able to settle in mediation. Tremendously, tremendously satisfied! I retained Mr. Nick Mermiges, Esq, to represent me in family law proceedings in 2016. He charged an extremely reasonable flat rate for bundled professional and associated services, which was new to me. Mr Mermiges was unbelievably responsive to my questions, usually answering via text or email within the hour. Appointments were easily made and always kept. He clearly explained current state and next steps, always keeping me in the loop. I cannot imagine having a more professional, engaged, and competent attorney who really kept my best interests in mind.

Nick was always there when I needed him. He saw me through a very painful divorce. I always was able to speak directly to him and he made sure that everything was taken care of properly. I enjoyed working with Nick. He was a straight forward and direct, he had empathy, listened very attentively to all my concerns and offered various ways to handle my divorce.
