Honest hard-working and a pleasure to work with

I’ve attempted to contact this law firm (if that’s what you’d call it) several times only to be routed to a voicemail box for weeks. The receptionist answering the phone is clueless and displays a condescending attitude. There should really be a way to file a complaint about the professionalism and lack of community this firm.

I would give them a 0 review if I could. Our large HOA used McCabe Trotter & Beverly, PC. for years. Now that I am on the BOD for the HOA, I can see that they simply cannot get the job done. Stephanie Trotter and her team are unprofessional with attitude. They worked on one case for us since 10-29-2018, and due to unknown reasons, dropped us a week before it was to go to the final court proceeding last week – leaving us without representation and scrambling to find another attorney to pick up the pieces and help us close this issue. However, they were happy to collect their fees for the past 4 years, and then dump us at the final hour – 4 years of attorney fees down the drain. Of course, they will respond to this review with “This reviewer is not a client of McCabe Trotter & Beverly, PC…” We are previous clients and will NEVER use them again. I suggest that you heed the warning and select other legal representation.

Very unprofessional. Called to talk through my HOA fees.. paid with autopay for our bank. Shows check was delivered but uncashed by HOA. Called to talk through the mishap. Unfortunately the call turned heated when they refused to treat me with respect. Acted as tho I was a criminal even tho she stated they see this mishap with autopay all the time. She even told me to hang up and have my husband call back so she didn't have to deal with me anymore. She refused to listen and would only repeat false facts over me! I will also report to the better business bureau!

Haylen and Katie are extremely unprofessional. Their lack of communication and follow up is ridiculous. As many people on here have mentioned, they will give you incorrect information. ASK FOR RECEIPTS AND KEEP A TRACK RECORD WITH DOCUMENTATION. Don’t expect them to have correct logging. And of course.. They rarely return voicemails or answer the phone. Don’t bother calling after 3P it’s Useless.

I went into their office on Jackson Blvd just to ask a question about my HO a fees and I had to speak to a young lady from behind a locked glass door. No big deal but she made me feel like a criminal and I just had a question about fees…….

Mr. Smith is the best ! Looks out for the associate . Goes over and beyond. If you are looking for a lawyer he’s the guy . I highly recommend Mr.William Smith & his staff. Very nice and helpful.

I absolutely despise this firm!!! Rude, Unprofessional, hanging up on people is obviously a part of their training. I've never had a great experience with them EVER and no response is needed from the "owner" stating that "this reviewer is not a client...blah blah blah. The fact that I've had business interaction with representatives from this firm is enough "clientiship". They are bullies and it's a numbers game. I said what I said!!!!!!

Crooks! One representative hung up on me. Then they would not answer the phone. They charge a $20 fee to make a payment on line. Greed at all cost! I feel sorry for people who have to prey on others to support their miserable lives!
