Mr. Bowen has represented me on several personal and business issues over the past 15 years. I have watched Mr. Bowen not only represent me but other people and the one thing that sticks out is John will Always treat Every case like it is his Only case putting the needs of his clients First. John is the only "Attorney With a Conscience" that I have ever dealt with and would Highly recommend his firm the next time you need professional advice or help. If Mr. Bowen doesn't think he can help you better than anyone else he will refer you to someone that can...Period. Do not expect that from most firms. Mr. Bowen represented me when a non-family individual contested my mother's will upon her death. The estate included a house in reverse mortgage and required that we move as efficiently as possible to prevent delay and foreclosure upon the house. The situation was complicated and delicate. Mr. Bowen worked with me long-distance for several months, keeping in contact via phone and internet, sometimes on a daily basis. He presented my options throughout the process as the situation continued to unfold and present new challenges. Mr. Bowen listened attentively as I expressed my frustrations. He advised me in an open and cautious manner, not rushing to judgement. Not only did Mr. Bowen represent me relating to the will in question, but he also represented me when foreclosure papers were served in error and required considerable communication with the lending bank. In every situation, Mr. Bowen was professional, courteous, patient, and persistent. The opposing attorney prolonged the process as long as possible, but we were finally able to settle out of court and sell the house with only a few days to spare. I should add that in the end I traveled to Hilton Head to prepare for court with Mr. Bowen. During these final days of the case, he put himself fully at my disposal, informed me of all of my options, and mediated a meeting between me and the other contestant. This was an emotionally charged case, and I will be forever grateful to Mr. Bowen for his wise and compassionate counsel.
