Our family was referred to Lawyer Lisa by another attorney to handle a complex probate matter, and am I glad we were! The attorney who had handled my elderly father's claims in his late wife's estate had done a poor job of representing his interests and was not honest with us. Lisa Hostettler Brown and her entire staff were diligent, caring and responsive. She filed a claim for us against the previous attorney and got a settlement for my father of double what we expected. AND, her fees were very reasonable. We were made to feel like family, and I would highly recommend Lawyer Lisa for all estate planning and probate needs. We will certainly continue to call on her services.

Highly recommend Lawyer Lisa. While I do not typically write reviews I feel compelled to do so in the case of Lisa and her staff. Kristi Smiddy and Lisa Hostetler were beyond amazing from the moment I called their office. To say they were helpful, considerate, sensitive and gracious when dealing with my family during a very difficult time in our lives would be an understatement. They treated myself and my family with great care and concern through the entire process. Lisa is knowledgeable, capable, and professional. I would recommend her for all of your estate planning needs. They were able to take my parents from a place of vulnerability to a position of strength and security at a time they needed it most. Sensitive to the many specific needs and details that were overwhelming to us, Lawyer Lisa and her team navigated us through it all with ease and confidence. My mother can't speak about what they did for her and my father without getting choked up. From creating power of attorney documents to handling real estate planning to writing a comprehensive will to establishing a trust, Lawyer Lisa can do it all and do it well.

Lawyer Lisa firm helped our family to create an estate plan, will, and trusts for our family and disabled child. They are very professional and helpful in any legal needs I have. I know our family is in good hands and for our children's future once my husband and I are gone.

We highly recommend Lisa and her team! We've worked with them on a variety of projects, everything from setting up a conservatorship, creating wills, establishing durable powers of attorney, and creating an estate trust. It's hard to imagine having navigated these tasks without her. Granted, they're perhaps not the cheapest firm, but we feel that when it comes to issues as profound as these, we're absolutely willing to pay for excellence!

Worked with Lisa on setting up an estate Trust. She went over the details of how it worked and what our “homework “ would be. In addition to the Trust, my wife and I got updated wills, durable PoA, Health Care PoA and end of life declarations. Very comprehensive. Of course I would have to die to know for sure that she got it right but seems to be very thorough! Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Probably fine legal services but awfully expensive. Charged $300 for a consult, then wanted over $2000 for simple estate docs for my 89 yo mother. We were able to get the docs prepared elsewhere for less than $750. Lesson learned - for simple legal services, don't pay for a consult.

Absolutely not. Never again.
