If I could give a zero star rating, I would. We hired Sabine Boulware for a child custody case. It was stated in another review that she does not represent adults, but that is not true. After our initial consultation with her where she presented herself as an educated professional, she failed us in every sense. She failed to communicate with us and explain procedure, she did not show up for meetings, she did not return calls or emails, and most importantly did not submit any of our affidavits, evidence and paperwork to the courts. We were charged for all of these things even though she did not do them. Our bills were over $10,000. We were under contract with her for 9 months and we saw her 2 times; at our initial meeting and at our eventual hearing. We filed a formal fee dispute and received all of our money back because of her "egregious misconduct" but this took many more months. Needless to say, we have a new custody case in motion with a different attorney at a different law firm. This has taken so much extra time which is extremely upsetting especially because a child is involved. Sabine should not be allowed to practice family law!

Sabine was assigned to our case. She was professional and dedicated throughout. 5 stars for all her hard work.

My ex husband and I had to use her as our guardian for our case.. She was the absolute worst person to ever work with! I really don't understand how she is still even in Law. She was supposedly on my side, I guess until my ex husband and her did some things for her to make a little extra money.. then she was on his side.. Said that I was a bad mother, I starved my son and all of this other crap.. she never once, not once did she come to my home and observe me with my son through the whole entire case.. She went to my ex husbands house for three hours one day and my son wasn't even there, bc he was with me when she went over there (that should tell you something). needless to say, I won custody, but definitely not with her piss poor help.. she NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP!!! Shes horrible and I would not ever recommend her to anybody!

I won custody but she is horrible! Never interviewed outside parties only spoke to my children once for 10 min was 2 hrs late to home visit then ran in and out no showed to second hearing so got delayed anothet 4 months then billed us $9000 she doesnt care about you or your children!

Anyone who had this incompetent GAL assigned to their case should file a complaint to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel. She admitted in court she never investigated anyone of the members on my side of the case. I called several times and got little to no response from her office. She has a history of misleading people. One cant help to question what her motives are I suspect she only seeks financial gain by force of a court order as a GAL.

She represents only children, not parents. The parent that doesn't end up with the children is always upset. I bet the unhappy reviewers were the ones who lost. But I know She did a great job for their kids because she cares so much. Our kids were comfortable with her from day 1. She worked continuously on our case and billed for only some of her work. She also let us set up a payment plan. Our kids still adore her and she took a personal interest in each one. She gave us all of her contact information and even returned calls on weekends and after midnight. She even gave us tips on helping our kids thru the rough times. She worked with the children, teachers, counselors and doctors to find out what was truly best for the children. We owe her a debt of gratitude.

sabine lied, I believe to keep the case open in order to continue to make money. sabine made an obvious bias report sabine procrastinated causeing significant finacial damage to me sabine and her office is not competent enough to get names accurate of the parties involved sabine gives false estimates of costs involved and charges well over her court authorized limits sabine should never have the trust of a court where her influence can place children in such danger based off sabine's personal preferences

Poor all the way around. I fired her after the first separation hearing. She was no support, lacked concern, allowed other lawyer to intimidate her. And charged money when no results were seen. This was January 2006. I represented myself afterward and had better results.

This lawyer never followed up on what she was supposed to be doing. She made appointments to visit and view our situation and never kept the appointments. She worked double time for the opposing side's benefits and neglected our needs and her duties to justice and fairness. She didn't get any work done for us, but still managed to charge over $2k for work she supposedly did.
