We had a great experience when closing on our new home with Scott Umstead. The receptionist was very welcoming. The closing went smoothly & Scott explained everything in layman's terms.

Very professional and easy to talk with. He is very informative and breaks complicated wording into easy to understand terms. Umstead Law office was, for us in July 2024, a refreshing change compared with all the other law offices we have used over many years. Their staff were all great, especially Debbie Rose who guided us through our legal obligations in Myrtle Beach. For us all the anxiety disappeared and we we left their very unique office smiling, relaxed, and confident we had chosen legal professionals who had been doing the right things for a long time and were proud of their work. My experience with Scott and his team is very positive. Michelle Zalucky created an LLC for the purchase and did excellent work on my behalf. Ashley Kurth and Kellie Stull were in charge of matters related to the closing and made it very easy for me. And if you go to the staff directory you will discover the dogs - this made a positive impression when I first looked at the Umstead website. The photo is my niece Jessica with her spouse Chris and son Brayden. It is their first home and I felt confident knowing that Umstead was coordinating the purchase and closing.
