I was rushed to sign a bunch of paperwork that literally said to have another lawyer review BEFORE signing. I was assigned a “case manager” that was out on vacation so conveniently couldn’t answer my questions about paperwork. After I left 3 messages, the last one being clearly frustrated, an “attorney” reached out to me basically saying they never got any messages. Which would be because I was leaving messages for a case manager, NOT an attorney. I finally told them I am no longer interested in pursuing this, only because it has been nothing but a hassle trying to get clarity on everything. Then hours later, I received a email advising they decided my case was denied. Dumpster fire of a process. A joke to say they were already working my case when they wouldn’t even call me back.
