“Life is short. Get a divorce.” So says the billboard for this firm off the highway. This seems an unwise perspective to take on a procedure that tears so many lives apart. I have seen the disclaimer that they give, claiming that they do not advocate for divorce, but the firm has not denied ownership of the billboard to my knowledge, and thus the claim is simply untrue.

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Attorney Anderson. She is not only professional and personable but also incredibly effective and efficient in her work. Her willingness to help in any way she can truly sets her apart. Attorney Anderson is a vital part of our community and deserves recognition for her numerous achievements. She handles every case—whether personal or professional—with the utmost care and has consistently proven herself to be trustworthy. I called Seretta for my daughter before paying the retainer. I wanted to know if she was familiar with dealing with a Narcisisst. She assured she was well aware of the personality defect. My daughter needed modifications to the original Court Order due to many many violations of the Oder by the Defendant. Absolutely nothing was done but another Court Order stating everything in the original order must be abided by, which was basically no change. We were charged a healthy retainer and after the Court Order, got another bill for more charges. I would have reported her to the bar for charging so much for doing little to nothing, but she has not enforced the additional bill. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I had allot of faith in her. I believe if you know anything about a Narcisisst, there is absolutely nothing that comes out if their mouths that is the truth, they are the world's best at manipulation and they will falsly build themselves up to make the other person look bad. It appears he did a goid job if thus yo his attorney and that attorney carried the Narcisisst traits over to Syretta.

If I could give Syretta Anderson 5 million stars, I would! I have known her for the past 6+ years. She has been my attorney in multiple different court hearings over the past 6+ years regarding my family court issues, specifically dealing with child custody and visitation. When I say there is NO ONE else that I would ever want by my side, fighting for me, in front of a judge, I am not exaggerating. Syretta knows the law inside and out and can speak the legal jargon at the drop of a hat. Multiple times, in the beginning, I had to remind myself that she was on my side because, although she is extremely personable, she did intimidate me with her plethora of knowledge and confidence in the courtroom. She is extremely intelligent, well spoken and professional. She never backed down to any challenge I presented to her, rather she embraced it and conquered it with poise and dedication. I trust her with making decisions for myself, my daughter, and my family as a whole. Going through a divorce and a custody battle can be stressful and bring about a number of emotions for any mother (or father) who love their children dearly. However, knowing that you have someone who is willing to go to any length WITH you and FOR you, can make the process seem less frightening and chaotic. I will ABSOLUTELY hire Ms. Anderson again, if my future with my child deems necessary. On a side note, I have heard multiple people make mention of her slogan "Life is short, get a divorce.". And if you are unhappy in your marriage, then life is too short to be unhappy. But, furthermore, as I sit and think of all the people who have told me, "Oh, I've seen her billboard on I-77", it proves to me that her name is one to not be forgotten. Not only is she the VERY BEST lawyer that York County has to offer, but she is one of the most ingenious marketing individuals that I have ever met! THANK YOU SYRETTA from the bottom of mine and my daughter's heart! Your time and dedication to our individual case has made ALL the difference in our personal lives moving forward and we will forever be grateful!

I think it is worth noting to anyone considering this office of the message they choose to market to the public. There is a billboard off I 77 in South Carolina for this law firm. It states, "Life is short, get a divorce." What an absolutely disgusting message.We all know life happens and sometimes divorces happen.But it should never be with the outlook that life is just short, so flippantly go get into course.That is absolutely ridiculous and I will defer anyone from using this law firm that thinks so little of marriage.

Best custody attorney in south carolina! Ms Anderson was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the whole process! Got me what I wanted. I recommend her over anyone else!

We hired Attorney Anderson to represent us to complete two step-parent adoptions. Two very simple cases with the biological parents not involved and neither contesting the adoptions. Getting questions answered and information was never in a timely manner and always a headache. We knew we qualified for the step-parent adoption credit in SC and seemed to fuel her very high cost. Getting that process completed alone was very drawn out and unnecessarily complicated. I couldn’t imagine if we actually had to face the biological parents in court. She showed up late to court, changing her shoes before walking in. It was quite embarrassing and unprofessional. It took MONTHS for us to get the decree and certificate of adoption after the final court hearing. We were told we had everything to file for new Birth Certificates on our own and come to find out that has not been the case either. Any decent attorney would have completed this for their client. So now almost ten months after our final hearing we still have not been able to obtain new birth certificates for the children. We have not been given proof of the Report of Adoption to the states they were born in or any indication that this was even done. After emailing multiple times asking for direction and clarification, we were pretty much told it’s not her problem anymore because she’s been paid and done. Now we are stuck after paying her nearly $10,000 and there are still major loose ends. Not only are we greatly disappointed but so are the children. We could not have had an easier case to represent or complete and simply can not fathom the lack of care or attention to detail, other than greed.

Anderson Law Firm is awesome! No matter the time of day, any concerns or questions I had she was always there to answer and put my mind at ease. 10 out of 10 will recommend!

Very ,very expensive, nice attorney

I highly do not reccomend Anderson Law firm!! I used her for a divorce and did not Represent me to the best of her ability. Did not stand up to the oath she took. Will over charge you. Don't expect to get your attorney fees back because I tried to get them for 5 years. Then she charged me again. Then kept all the money for herself. She is unethical and she was talking to my ex husband helping him while she was still my lawyer which is a big conflict of interest. I will be putting a call in to the The Commission on Lawyer Conduct and Office of Disciplinary Council. I am sure she will take this review down. Look for another attorney.

I am extremely impressed by Syretta Anderson. She is highly experienced in family law. The case I was involved in was handled exceptionally well. It was a pleasure working with her.
