I have been in Real Estate for over 13 years. I have had many closings with Steltzner Law Firm over these years, either representing a buyer or seller. I read some of the reviews here and I am really surprised and thought I should put my 2 cents in. Since the buyer's are the one's that chose the attorney, this is out of the hands of the Realtor's, Lenders or the sellers. Its the buyers choice, regardless. The lenders and other factors always play into how things go at closings and it is usually never the attorney and the staffs fault. I have had my share of things that went wrong or was a tedious chore to GET to the closings for some of my clients. It is part of the job. I would like give my review to give Donovan Steltzner and ALL of his staff a big fat 10! Donovan introduces himself to all parties IN his reception area every time there is a closing. He is very detailed in his explanation as to what is taking place at the closing. He has a very charismatic personality and always has presented himself in a friendly but professional manner at every closing. His fees are competitive with the other attorneys if not MORE reasonable than most of his colleagues in our area. His staff is A+ and have ALWAYS been MORE than helpful every time. When we got to court he was completely unprepared, did not use the evidence we gave him, he didn’t question the witnesses who he new was lying and couldn’t speak clearly to the judge.

My wife and I felt very rushed through the closing of our land recently. The attorney doing the closing was in an obvious hurry to get it over with and seemed irritated when my wife asked a couple of questions. We now have to find a different attorney to close on our new home. We found this firm unprofessional to say the least!

The buyers for our last home used them and it was a headache dealing with them and the mortgage company they used. Will make sure when we sell again not to sell to them if they are using them or the same mortgage company. Edited: They needed signed paperwork and failed to mention that they needed a wet signature for it instead. I went to our attorney's office AGAIN that day of closing to sign and then email back to them. My wife recieved a phone call the next day Friday at 345 PM when they close at 530 stating they never received this. You would think they would call first thing Friday morning to let us know since our closing was the day before so this would be taken care of. I'm guessing that was not in their control either.

Donovan at ( Stelzner Law PC ) provided excellent service, demonstrating professionalism and personal attention to all details, and came through on very short notice. I almost forgot to mention Leticia, she collaborated, and helped us get through a last minute hold up before our closing and literally worked around the clock with us to get the necessary paperwork to close the deal. We worked with Steltzner Law to create a living will for my wife and I. We couldn't be more happier with the process and experience working with Donovan Steltzner and his team. Very thorough and communication was excellent. Whether you're in need of a will or a real estate attorney, we'd highly recommend giving them a call.

Very rude. Didn't even introduce himself to us. I had to ask after we were already in process of signing. When we were finished, Donovan said "Enjoy your debt!". I"hope you spend it well." My husband and I were stunned. If you want to be treated with respect, DON'T USE THIS LAW FIRM EVER!!!

They failed to wire my funds on the day of closing, instead I had to wait 6 days and make several phone calls and send several e-mails in order to receive my funds. Also they could not provide me with either a confirmation number or date of when it was actually sent. How does a law firm not have access to this information for a wire that they did?! Ridiculous

Nice friendly place. Mr. Steltzer is a good fellow.

EXCEPTIONAL. The sellers I was working with were very difficult. Sarah bent over backwards to get everything back on track. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this firm.

Nice. Professional. Made the process as quick and painless as it can be when signing that much paperwork. Absolutely will recommend him and use him again.
