John Holland was great from the beginning. With him being my 3rd lawyer on my case. Needless to say future lawyers, at the time of contact, weren't to interested in taking a case two other lawyers have been removed, fired, from. John listened to what I had to say and the problems I was having with previous lawyers. He was the only lawyer that "didn't" tell me, right from the start, "Oh, a father getting full custody of his young child is NOT likely to happen in the State of SC. " But of course they would do all they could and take my case. Leading absolutely no where. Then I met John Holland. I honestly don't believe he believed much of what I had to say. After all, I had already gone through 2 attorneys. He was straight up and let me know that if what I was telling him was on the up and up he would take the case. As time went by it was obvious that what I had been saying was true. John gave me the benefit of the doubt and worked extremely hard on my case. Never once mentioning in "SC Father's don't get custody". Well I'm hear to tell all the Father's out there, don't buy into the hype. Great lawyers can achieve great things. Took 6 years total. The last couple years with John fighting for me. As of July 29, 2022 I am happy to say I have full custody of my son. If your a Father that believes you should have custody of your children then fight for that. If you decide to fight, especially in SC, than you'll need a great attorney. John Holland is your man. If you don't give up than John won't either.

Working with John Holland has been a great experience. He has provided much help and knowledge to our situation. Mr. Holland believes in communication and stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process. He cares about his work and sees people not as cases but as people needing help. We have used Mr. Holland on several occasions with better than expected outcome. We want to say thank you Mr. Holland for your hard work, dedication and attention to detail to our case.

John is very well respected by his colleagues, the judges before whom he appears, and most importantly, his clients. He will work tirelessly to achieve the best result for any given client. Like his father, also a very respected lawyer, the South Carolina bar is lucky to have John in the legal profession.

I Hired John Holland to represent me in a custody battle. John was always on time and prepared for our meetings. John was always well informed and straight forward with where we stood in our case. He also was very time conscious and respectful of the money we had spent for his services. All phone calls were always returned promptly.
