Jeff is one of the best lawyers in the Summerville area. I had what should have been a very simple divorce but due to how difficult my ex decided to be it turned out to be tremendously complicated. Jeff has been so wonderful throughout the whole process. He is very responsive and witty in his emails. For what was one of the most stressful parts of my life he always had me laughing. At the same time, he is extremely professional and knows how get things done in court. Jeff handled everything so I could focus on work and not have this divorce take over my life any more than it already had. When my ex decided not follow the court ordered divorce decree Jeff did not take my money and rack up more legal costs (which he could have easily done). Instead he referred me to a lawyer in CA (where my ex currently lives) to handle my case so issues could actually be resolved. He is an honest man who is actually here to help you. Do yourself a favor if you need a family law lawyer just hire Jeff!

I had a fairly difficult case where the outcome was uncertain. Jeff did a great job of laying out my case and becuase of that we came out on top at trial. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Jeff was amazing. He was honest and real with me. He did a great job at keeping my calm when my nerves could have gotten the best of me. His knowledge was beyond my expectations. I knew that I could count on his communication any time I had a question or concern. While I haven't had a ton of experience with lawyers Jeff went above and beyond what I could have imagined and made my divorce as painless as possible.

Not only was Jeff all the above but most importantly he was compassionte during a very stressful time in my life. He always made sure I was informed and aware of all decisions and after the fact was there to check in on me. His sense of humor was also a plus and ended up being one of the things to help me through the ruff times of my divorce. I would highly recommend.

Jeff represented me in a divorce and custody case. He did an excellent job from start to finish. He was one step ahead of the opposing counsel at every turn and was very knowledgeable of the workings of the court. I referred my mother to him based on these reviews. She is currently in a custody battle with her ex over my younger half brother and sister. She blew $200 today at the initial consultation only to be told that he is acquaintances with her ex's lawyer and didn't want to go up against her in court. If he felt that way, he shouldn't have taken her money and apologized for wasting her time.

If I would have found Mr. Jeff years ago I would have been done with this years ago. He got things done in months where it took others years to do. He works tirelessly on all aspects of the case.

I was fortunate enough to find Jeff when he worked at another firm. He then opened his own practice and I followed him. Through the course of a divorce, emotions run high and poor decisions can be made. Jeff never lost sight of the goal--which was protecting me through the divorce. He has the insight to attack issues that are relevant and quickly discard issues that have no bearing. He will voraciously attack something he feels is wrong, has the backbone to stand up against any attorney, and even told me when I needed to shut up and listen, yet offered me a place to stay when I had nowhere to go. He's the most grounded, compassionate attorney I've ever met. Another impressive attribute is his knowledge of the law. It's "nerd-like". He, in the course of a discussion, will quote which laws apply and why, what's needed to be filed and when, and what the motions will accomplish---but that's only if you can keep up with how quickly he spouts this information out. In my opinion, nobody wins in a divorce case but I can honestly say I fared better than I ever thought I would. If Jeff can handle your type of case, you don't want anyone else in your corner.

Mr Schreiber took over in the heat of a very emotional, frustrating divorce involving many complex issues. He listened very closely and really got to know our story. He was compassionate, understanding and nonjudgmental. He discussed with us the issues moving forward and informed us throughout the process of our options and likely outcomes. He guided us in making our own decisions where possible and had our back at all times. He earned our trust by always doing what he said he would do and was available for emergencies, even on the weekend or holiday. The result is that we feel a real sense of ownership to the agreement we reached. The ink is barely dry and we are already seeing the benefits of having such a detail oriented man on the job. Although it took longer than anyone expected, we feel that we reached the best possible solution under the circumstances where our children are concerned. I've worked with several attorneys in the past in many capacities. Jeff, as we call him, is the most dedicated and passionate attorney I've worked with. He really does care! He goes about it in the way one would meticulously and painstakingly untangle a knot in their child's hair. Carefully, lovingly, one by one, he helps you straighten everything out. He is so adept, you would never know he's a young attorney. He is a natural! I can't speak highly enough of this attorney. I hope his rates don't go up after this review for the sake of his future clients, but he is worth far more than he charges. You just can't buy this kind of relentless advocate. He enjoys the competitive game, but never loses sight of what's at stake. He is very well spoken, highly intelligent, extremely detailed and a bit of a perfectionist. He was our calm in the storm.
