Out of the blue, he sent me a surprise bill that was more than double the agreed amount for a simple legal matter. When confronted, he admitted that he did not communicate this change, yet still tried to collect on the overcharge. Poor communication and unapologetic. Felt like he was trying to take advantage of me.

Jim Widrig represented me during my divorce and what I most appreciated about him was guidance through a difficult time. Divorce can be very stressful and in my case, it was fast and hard. During some of the most challenging points of my litigation, Jim reminded me that this is a long game. When you are involved in a divorce with children it can be emotion-filled. His experience and understanding what was most important to me (children/custody) allowed him to provide the best advice. He was absolutely right about the most likely outcome and provided me all of my options. The divorce might not have gone the way I thought in the beginning but at the end of it all, I was really pleased with the outcome.

Very thorough, knowledgable of the law and procedures, very straight forward. Mr Widrig brings respect to law practice. He has always been responsive to phone calls and emails. We have not felt that he has over charged for the services he has performed for us. Definitely recommended!!!
