We, unfortunately, have recently finished a lengthy legal process that spread over several years and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. When reviewing the final bill, we felt we had been inappropriately billed by a substantial amount. Mr. Shumate reviewed the prior case, explained our options in a very clear way and negotiated with the other attorney, allowing us to avoid arbitration or having to sue, and eventually leading to a very substantial reduction in what we had to pay. His estimates of the hours.he would need to spend and the overall cost were very accurate. He was very responsive to questions.
