Amanda Dunn of Houston and Alexander, represented my son who was facing a minimum 10 year sentence for a federal drug conspiracy charge. I got arrested for sleeping in my work van at an Applesbees. I had drank a little too much at the bar and didn't want to drive across the street to my hotel. After leaving Amanda a voicemail about my case, she called me back fast and had already looked up my case number and knew all about my case. She saved me time by postponing my first court date (my b.a.c hadn't came back yet), so it would of been a waste of time. When court arrived, she worked with the district attorney and judge to get the case dismissed and was successful. She's a good one. Very smart and respectable.

We hired Amanda to represent us in a situation where child abuse charges and domestic violence charges were made. This situation was a setup on both parts as our side was innocent. Amanda stayed on top of the issues from both sides by communicating clearly and quickly with all parties involved, us, the DA and the other party's lawyer. It all came down to being in the wrong place at the wrong time, hind sight is 20/20 as they say. However, Amanda was able to advise us of a plea bargain plan that was successful. Probation and anger management ended up being a small price to pay in comparison to jail time for an innocent mistake made. It was a hard experience, but Amanda was right there for us and we greatly appreciate it! We would highly recommend her to anyone!
