Our experience with Conner and Roberts was wonderful. They really made us feel like we were in good hands. We were grateful for the way our situation was handled. They bring a personal touch to each case that you won’t get at other firms.

I actually have talked with your firm many times- I’m not sure if that’s considered a “dealing” or not. Bailey was nothing but nice, If it weren’t for her I would have given one star. But you were actually representing a client of mine during a bankruptcy and sale of home. Eventually you refused to help my client because I believe we contacted you all too many times. Regardless, you left my client and everyone involved in this transaction high and dry, forcing us to find another attorney. We worked with you for 60 days and you could never get us the documentation needed for the sale. After you refused to work with my client, we found another one that was able to get the necessary documents within 3 days. I have never once written a bad review on anything on google- you guys made me feel obligated to write my first. Clearly you don’t know your clientele very well if you said you have never spoken to me- when I have talked to you every week for the last month.

Amelia Roberts is the best attorney in Chattanooga. She is honest, trustworthy and very straight forward. Exceeded my expectations. Her knowledge of the law and how it can work for you is exceptional and her ability to think outside the lines and come up with creative ways to solve a problem is beyond reproach. Ms. Roberts and her staff makes you feel like friends and family. She will fight for your rights. I recommend anyone that needs a lawyer to go with her and only Amelia Roberts.

Conner & Roberts, Attorneys at Law, PLLC did an exceptional job taking care of my bankruptcy. I worked directly with Mrs. Roberts and her staff. She kept me informed every step of the way and answered all of my questions. I appreciate the work that was done and recommend them to anyone who is considering bankruptcy protection.

I would give zero stars if it were possible! This week was the worst experience I have ever had with an attorney in my nearly two decades of work within the judicial system. Attorney Lisa Conner exhibited unprofessional, disrespectful, and unethical behavior, including the use of physical force upon me, and then called law enforcement during my appointment for a consultation with her firm. In my case, I was the paying party for a potential client of Lisa Conner. The potential client and I searched for local divorce attorneys and decided to consult with several firms in order to obtain a fair assessment of how they conduct business and to obtain a level of comfort with them before hiring them for her pending divorce. The potential client requested that I attend the consultation with her due to my experience with judicial matters and her level of anxiety with the matter. Several law firms were more than happy to accommodate the request as long as they received authorization from the potential client. When the potential client was finally summoned back for the consultation at Lisa Conner’s firm, I was informed that I would not be allowed to be present as it was the policy of the attorney to not allow anyone other than the client to attend. I then informed the receptionist that I was the party paying the fee and if I would not be allowed to attend, as the potential client requested, we would not be interested in proceeding. If the attorney would like to honor the free consultation that would be up to her and the potential client, but if I was going to take financial responsibility, I wanted to know who I was hiring. The receptionist claimed she informed Lisa Conner and she responded that she would not refund the $200 payment. I stated that I had been very respectful and now I felt that I was not being respected regarding whether I wished to proceed, given my inability to meet the person who would be representing the divorce matter. I was again advised that Lisa Conner adamantly refused to refund the payment and the potential client would therefore be returned to the lobby. I waited for an extended period of time and it appeared that the consultation had proceeded, at which time I again inquired and was informed that a consultation had been initiated and no refund would be given. I then stated that I was not happy with the manner in which Lisa Conner conducted her business, and I felt I was misled and taken advantage of, since I informed them of my intentions at the onset of the consultation rather than after it had taken place. A short time later the potential client and Lisa Conner arrived back in the reception area. I was told by Lisa Conner to leave her office immediately. I stated that I would be glad to leave upon receipt of my $200 consultation fee. Conner became agitated and demanded that I leave her office, as she proceeded around the reception desk, placed her hands on me and forcefully pushed me toward the door (which is criminal). I strongly advised Conner to “do not touch me!” Conner immediately requested her receptionist to call the police. I advised Conner that I would be more than glad to patiently wait for law enforcement to respond. Conner then stated that I needed to wait outside, which I complied with. I believe Lisa Conner attempted to bully and intimidate me, which did not work. Chattanooga Police Officers responded to the location and obtained my statement as to what occurred. The Officers then met with the staff of the law firm and upon returning outside, I was informed that the version of events was just as I relayed to the officers. I also received my $200 check back. The staff appeared to be infuriated that they did not receive the response they expected from responding officers. I am fortunate that I learned this lesson before entering into a contractual agreement with her. As always, conduct due diligence before trusting your matters to someone! “Buyer beware”
