I will use Mr. Hoffer in all my child custody issues! Mr. Hoffer was honest, professional and diligent! He took every single one of my concerns into account. He was a great voice for me in court. He ultimately got me the outcome I was searching for. Mr. Hoffer was always easy to reach and very responsive. His office staff Mrs. Becky, was always kind and helpful! She always relayed my messages and treated me with the upmost respect!

you are thinking of hiring Mr. Hoffer, do it now! My case was a difficult one stretched across two states. He approached my case with confidence and is very well versed with the law. My family and I can't thank him enough. Other reviewers that say he is arrogant, are mistaking his tactics. He is honest and straightforward which is what you want. Would you rather a lawyer tell you something to make you feel better? Or would you rather one that tells you what needs to be done for the good of your case? I would much rather the second honestly. That is exactly why my case came out better than expected. I can not thank you enough Mr. Hoffer and your staff for being informative and thorough with each detail. The nightmare began in January 2016. Jerry met with me (grandma) and our daughter to discuss drugs and loss of custody of her baby! We are from Maryland and our daughter lived in Cleveland, TN where she gave birth to our grandson. Jerry and his office staff, Janie and Becky walked us through everything. Dealing with Child Services, Juvenile Court, and General Sessions was quite an adventure to begin with but every step of the way Jerry's office helped to walk us through it. The final court was Circuit Court where after 2 years and a lot of work my daughter needed to do she gained full custody of her son and was able to bring him back to Maryland on a full time basis. Jerry understands the system, listens to your problem and gets it done. His MYCASE program made everything extremely easy to communicate, review documents as well as keep a calendar of all the dates. Jerry will say that, "It's not a sprint it's a marathon!" Deed it has been so be willing and patient to work thru the process what ever your process maybe. Also, take his advice seriously!

Best lawyer ever! He won my case for me when I only had a 50% chance. He is very laid back and honest with you. When he is in the courtroom he gets the job done and gets straight to the point. His staff is amazing! They always get back with you promptly and always took the time to listen to any questions I had. Jerry and his staff made sure to always upload every document to where I could see it and I was always in the loop. I cannot say enough good things about Jerry and his staff! I went to Mr. Hoffer to regain full custody of my minor daughter from my parents who were in agreement, and her father who is incarcerated. He handled the case properly and met all my expectations, was very informative, and I would hire him again. His staff is excellent and always helpful and friendly. Case was resolved quickly and I now have full custody of my daughter.
