Worst service ever! Literally took my money and ran. After I paid Chancey I never heard back, never returned phone calls. Still to this day he has my money and I have never heard back. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Chancey offers terrible service when I say, he literally took my money and ran that is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. After he got my money it took around 3 weeks to get a simple demand letter out. Once the letter was sent out there was nothing but typos and a very weak letter. That letter must have been drawn up last minute! I tried calling and emailing several times and NOTHING. This may have been a decent firm at one time but now it's all about him swelling his wallet. This is just my experience so don't say you have not been warned if you give him your money. This review was written 4 months after hiring him and I still to this day have not heard back from him.

Very rude and unprofessional. I found an attorney who was able to help me and because ei did not go with my Kanavos and cancelled my appointment he began texting me on a personal number of his stating he has tried to call me and I didn’t answer and that I had called him. I never spoke to this man in my life only a receptionist one time. When the appointment was canceled the office was also extremely rude. Would not recommend this man or his firm to my worst enemy.

Very unprofessional! No respect or compassion for anyone/anything except fattening their own pockets.Came highly recommended. Consulted w/kanovis then completely ignored for months.All the while assuring us, all was well. Heavy work load & murder case was blamed for total lack of communication. 3mo later, directed us to J Chancey, who basically repeated same scenario, simply changed details.Nearly yr. Later & 2wks b4 court; informs us, ONLY option is 2 drop huge Amt of $ for 20-life sentence. Yea, sure I'll get right on that...NEVER! Very misleading, hypocritical & flat out liars. Pity they play w/ppls lives evday w/only goal of benefiting self. Could b amazing lawyer if not for self serving, all consuming greed

They could have said he don't take my kind of cases instead of naming me cone and sit a hour to say 2 words and get rushed out

Mr. Chancey has continued to help me far past our last court date. He truly wants to help.

They won't even return calls for new clients. Not sure what's up?
