Update: received a letter from USCIS saying that my form I-693 which I paid $600 to get completed passed the 2 years since the civil surgeon signed it and Cruz law submitted. I got the form done and submitted to the office August 19,2021 however Cruz law did not submit my form until April 28, 2023 as a result of this negligence my form signed and sealed expired. Now I have to schedule another appointment which costs $650 to get this form resubmitted. This is so wrong. The first form I submitted the office open it and the seal cannot be broken. So I had to go and get that signed and sealed for $150. The second form they took almost 2 years to submit now I have to go and that done again for $650. In total I have paid $1400 for this form all due to negligence, mismanagements and lack of proper documentation training and handling. The part that frustrates me is there’s literally nothing I can do about it except pay this amount again cruise law is not taking accountability and of course they’re not gonna pay for me to get the form done even though they mishandled this case. It appears as though they know people need help with the Immigration case. Once they take the payment, they stop working on your case and they think there’s nothing you can do about it because you need their help. It’s cruel, it’s negligence, it’s malpractice, It’s not right, it’s unethical, and it’s flat out robbery. Be very careful working with them. This has been the worst experience. I feel taken advantage of absolutely. This is not morally or legally acceptable. I started working with them back in 2020. My first initial meeting was awesome and a few after following were also amazing. However, after my payment had been completed, that’s when things change. I could never get anyone to tell me a status. Every time I called I would have to leave a message and no one would return my messages. I kept checking my status online, and it was showing that no documentation had been submitted for me, even though I had taken the proper channels and paid to get all the paperwork filled that they requested. Now we are two years into this and I’m finding out that everything that I previously submitted including time sensitive documentation was just left in my folder. I would call weekly and asked if they had submitted my documentation and ask Why I was not seeing a status update and they would tell me that it was handled or pretend to take a message. I was lied to so many times and no one thought to follow up with me or to handle what I was paying them for. We paid so much money, and to think this is the service that was provided is absolutely horrendous. Sometime at the beginning of this year I was told that the law firm was splitting up, and my case would be handed to another attorney. It was at that time that the mishandling of my case was brought to light. No one had submitted anything on my behalf for two years. I never once missed a payment I paid my full balance. When I met with my attorney, I did have to go and take care of all the paperwork, some of them that cost fee because they had let the time run out not only that sensitive documentation had been opened and not submitted so I had to pay out of my pocket to get those documents filled out confidentially again. The management of this place is despicable. I feel so defeated. They are so wrong in every way. This was supposed to be a one year process and I’m three years into this. How is this right? I would never in 1 million years wish this experience on anyone or recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and check around town because this is not it.

Previously, a family member had a case with attorney Kayla Rachal who works with the firm. Idk, if she speaks for the whole firm but i have to say after referring them to another lawyer there were a few things that she didn't do that should have been done off the bat to speed up my family's case. Things to me that were like common sense. Im not educated in such matters and was surprised to learn what hadn't been done and how much time had passed. Which is so much time wasted. Whether because of being careless or not knowing for her position and prices, we were very disappointed. I felt money kept coming up. None the less, progress didn't.

Cruz is the Best! He did an amazing job with my case, could not be happier with his work. I will refer anyone who needs a lawyer to Cruz Law! Thank you Cruz for everything!
