I was very pleased with and impressed by my experiences with Wiseman Bray. The attorney (L. Jones) and her legal assistant were always on top of things, always very fast to respond, and quick to offer feedback and further assistance. I felt that they truly wanted me to be happy with everything. When I visited the office in early August, I was treated so well; everyone was professional and kind. I recommend this firm without hesitation.

My husband and I were interested in Estate Planning. We are retired military (empty nesters) and this is the second marriage for both of us. We had a three page will drawn up years ago by the military legal office. Though the will addressed our basic needs, our concern was about our children who were from our previous marriages. Each of us wanted to ensure our children's future inheritance was protected. With no legal documents in place, the spouse who dies first risks all assets going to the surviving spouse, and upon the second death those assets would go to the surviving spouse's benefactors. This could potentially result in your children getting none of their rightful inheritance. Once I learned more about estate planning, the search was on! I recalled my parents having a personal attorney that they had built a relationship with and who took care of all of their estate planning. I was hoping to find the same kind of attorney/client, long-term relationship. I initially picked Wiseman Bray because of their location. We set up an initial consultation and were scheduled with Ms. Lindsay Jones. She was everything we had hoped for. She put forward a package that was exactly what we were looking for. She recommended a "marital trust" that would ensure our individual assets "brought into" the marriage or "accrued during" the marriage (such as property) would be protected and go to our children. She also recommended power of attorneys for health and financial decisions. These documents are imperative during critical situations should we be incapacitated or worse. Most people do not realize that these documents are needed so you do not have to go the judicial route to get permission to act on your loved one's behalf. They also name additional trustees who can act on your behalf should your spouse die before you, or if they are unable or unwilling to carry out their responsibility. What we appreciate most about Lindsay is her respect for the process and her understanding of our individual needs. Due to COVID, we were given the option to have our subsequent meetings virtually over Zoom. Lindsay never missed a beat. During the virtual call she was very patient and took her time to go over every aspect of the draft documents to ensure their accuracy. The final product came in a beautiful, green, soft cover, three ringed binder. The will and powers of attorney were displayed on professional grade paper with labeled dividers to easily navigate through the documents. I can't tell you how comforting it is to know that all of our estate planning wishes (to include our will, health and fiduciary matters) is now taken care of. We highly recommend this firm, and more specifically, Ms. Lindsay Jones, for Estate Planning needs. We look forward to continuing a long-term attorney/client relationship with Lindsay.

I have worked with Larry and his team for many years, referring many of my clients from my financial advisory practice to Larry and his team. My experience has always been excellent. They run an extremely organized, professional practice, and they treat their clients in the way that you would hope to be treated in any professional setting. And my favorite part about working with their team is that they do not speak in legal language when dealing with clients. Wiseman Bray is the best estate planning law firm in Memphis. Lindsay Jones drafted my trust and I couldn't be more pleased. Their rates were incredibly reasonable for the high level of legal expertise they offer. I didn't have a vast number of assets but I wanted to avoid any family rivalry that might be fueled by a lengthy probate. She explains the clients options using methods (diagrams) that make is simple for those of us that are not legally savvy.
