Every cloud has a silver lining. While going through a particularly difficult divorce, Phil Newman helped me keep an even keel and delivered me through a storm to a good place. His guidance both professionally and personally was spot on, and he has become a friend through my ordeal. I had the misfortune of ending up in trial despite monumental efforts by Phil to resolve issues before trial. I will say that as a trial lawyer, Phil was a sight to behold. Easily one of the best trial lawyers , he was so thorough and on point, my ex-wife ended up offering to settle in my favor 3 days into the trial. I will continue to call Phil if I need anything legal advice going forward, and once in a while just to talk and catch up.
