We unfortunately rented a property from a landlord that we later discovered had a reputation for threatening litigation and attempting to make tenants (and contractors) pay for major repairs that were not their fault. Five separate people told us to hire a lawyer. Through our own dealings with the landlord, we found him to be an aggressive bully. Being busy with our jobs and preparing for a move, we dreaded dealing with the landlord during our move-out process. We wanted to learn our rights before the move-out process and spent a few weeks trying to get in touch with lawyers. We finally found Sam and called him -- he provided a free 30 minute consultation was very helpful. After considering our situation for another day, we decided to hire Sam. It was the best decision that we could have made. Here's why: 1. It was clear that Sam knew his stuff, and he was good at explaining our rights and options to us 2. Sam clearly cares about his clients and their situations; this genuine concern and thoughtfulness was apparent in all of our interactions. 3. He was a great advocate -- the move-out process was far, far easier than it would have been otherwise, and we did not pay for anything that was unreasonable. More important than the money Sam saved us, he saved us a mountain of stress. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

to anyone looking for a lawyer Mr. Cross should be at the top of your list he is a very nice and respectable person and does what he says we will do. But best of all he cares a lot about his clients and insured that I was ok form the time I retained him to the time my case was settled. If you hire him just know you have one of the best on your team from the start. I strongly advice you to go with the best.

Sam was retained to assist my mother in a landlord/tenant matter (she is the landlord) which had escalated into an administrative issue with the city in which the property is located, He used his knowledge of the law and his relationship of trust he had developed with the city to assist in resolving the issues then present in a professional and efficient manner.
