Very disappointed in this legal console which cost me over $20,000 a few years ago. I felt she fought more for my ex than she did for me. She caved in the mediation which cost me over $250,000. Not to mention all follow-up advise that was given started off positive, then when it came down to action, she caved again. I wouldn't recommend hiring her.

Spent over $7000 in 3 months, just to have her quit our case. When told that we didn’t feel she was representing us she became angered. Save your money.

Our daughter went through a divorce a few years ago, which means it affects the whole family as well. We found Ms Story to know exactly what to do and when to do it. Since her focus is on the client, we were able to sit back and observe her in action. She was professional and thorough and kind. When anything has come up afterwards for our daughter she has been there immediately and effectively. She is very good!

Ms. Story is not professional. Repeatedly went against my wishes, and did not listen. She was all about nickel and diming me, and very little concern with fighting for me. In the end, I wished I had not retained her.

Ms. Story has been a practicing Family and Criminal Law attorney for over thirty years in Williamson County as well as other surrounding counties and has a superior reputation among colleagues, judges, and clients. She has a solid legal background but her experience is not the only reason that she is sought after. She also has a genuine concern for her clients; her approach is both logical and emotional and with each step of the legal process, she educates her clients as a means of support. She has a very high record of return clients and because of the this, she receives numerous referrals. One would be hard-pressed to find a more determined, ethical, knowledgeable, and professional attorney who truly cares. I highly endorse this attorney.

Represented me in a divorce. Instructed me to get separate bank account. Then got ZERO from bank accounts that I contributed to for over 20 years. Got locked out of house and got very little marital property. She dismissed TPP without consent. She did more for the opposing attorney than she did for me. I would not recommend her!

Needs to pay more attention to what the client wants. Feels like you can't talk to her and let her know what you want! Too willing to give in too easy to the other party, not fight for client especially when abuse is involved from other parent! After she represented the the case that allowed the mother to take children to another country even after red flags were sent up in the case, then the father didn't see his children for years, that's when I knew I had to switch lawyers.

Virginia is a great attorney that I would recommend to anyone. My only con is that it seems she needed additional or more qualified assistants to handle some of her paperwork.
