Emily was amazing in helping with the custody issues with my child. When other attorneys told me there was nothing that I could do, that the person who had driven drunk with my child would end up getting the same amount of parenting time they had prior to being arrested, she fought for me and she fought for my child. I can’t thank her enough!

There is nothing fun or easy that involves family law, and having Emily by my side was a huge benefit to me. She helped me through several difficult situations that resulted in the best outcome for my family. Being a dad and having 80% custody is not the norm, but through diligence and making the correct decisions I was able to get there. Emily understands the court systems in our area, which is a plus on setting a court date. I found Emily through Autism Tennessee. I needed a lawyer who could understand my specific concerns for our special needs children. She has been the best at getting everyone involved (guardian ad litem, CASA worker, my ex’s lawyer,..etc.) to understand that our kids are not neurotypical & can not be treated as if they are. Since the beginning, Emily has been dedicated to helping me gain custody of my child. I would use these words in a heartbeat to distribute Attorney Leininger. I was in court and saw her fiercely defending another client, and just knew if I ever needed a lawyer I wanted her. Circumstances prevailed, and a few weeks later I found myself needing just such help. I talked to a few other attorneys, but they didn’t gain my trust.
