I reached out to Ponce Law after applying for and being denied SSDI. It was a great decision and my family and I will be forever grateful to the Ponce Law team. I served in the military and retired after 21+ years in 2016 with significant health issues. I planned to serve 30 years, but despite having a pristine military record and achieving a high rank, I could no longer perform my duties so I retired with a 100% permanent and total VA disability rating. After retiring, I applied for multiple jobs I was qualified for from high paying to even night time janitorial jobs and despite having a masters degree, no one, not even the “military friendly” employers would hire me. This was really hard on me, my wife and kids. I felt I was letting my family down. My dad said I should call a lawyer and I had been seeing Ponce Law commercials on TV so I went for it. I was nervous at first because I had never had to use a lawyer in my life. During the call they made me feel like I mattered, they asked some questions and listened carefully. They sent me a few forms to sign. I authorized access to my medical records and that was pretty much it. Next thing I know, they contacted me and let me know we had a court date and it was very soon due to being a disabled veteran, my case was expedited. I show up for the hearing and was greeted by a Ponce Law attorney. He gave me an overview of how the hearing would go and I was nervous and anxious, but he put me at ease. During the hearing, my lawyer discussed medical details I did not expect him to know. I was thoroughly impressed at how prepared he was. I would not have been able to plead my case and explain why I was unable to work. My SSDI was approved on the spot. This alleviated a ton of stress and enabled me to still provide for my family while continuing treatment. To this day, the Ponce Law Firm still sends me and my family Christmas cards, birthday cards, etc. I know this review is a bit long, but it’s the least I can do to say thank you to them and hopefully help others that may be in similar situations pick up the phone and call Ponce Law. They never promised me anything, was never rude to me, never withheld information and always kept me in the loop. They made this entire process so easy for me. When they say “Justice for All” they mean it. Highly recommend.
