I retained Art Fowler, III, when my father died in August 2017. As a legal assistant with experience working on estates, I had always assumed I would be able to "hold it together" when the time came, but dealing with a parent's estate is always incredibly stressful and time-consuming, especially when their finances and assets cause complications. Any good lawyer knows each client will need a certain amount of "hand-holding," and Art is a GREAT lawyer. He and his staff (Carolyn and Kerri) made the process simple by taking a careful "one step at a time" approach and then walking me through each step as it came up. Art dealt with the probate of my late sister’s estate and handled everything with compassion, understanding and a genuine sense of caring. It was a long and drawn out process but I was kept fully up to date along the way and he was always available to discuss any concerns and answer questions I may have had. He was also happy to work around the 5 hour time difference between the UK and Tennessee. Art made a difficult time much easier to deal with because I trusted him and I appreciated the fact that he went out of his way to be so helpful when I live in another continent.
