J.R. is very professional, caring, and trusting to work with. During one of the most stressful times of my life, I relied on him to help resolve an exhausting custody situation. He is experienced and knowledgeable at his profession, and I can’t imagine having worked with anyone else throughout such a stressful situation.

I am beyond thankful for how he handled my case. He is compassionate, aggressive and helped me in every way through a difficult time. I truly appreciate everything he did for me. Turns out I am better at picking Attornies then husbands.

The absolute best! I needed some things changed with my parenting plan. J.R and all the staff were amazing. Legal things always make me nervous, but they were very informative and new what they were doing. Everything went fast and smooth I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I was not prepared for divorce, I was in denial and shock. However, JR showed compassion along with the stern advice I needed at times. He was available to answer questions, explained processes and acted on my behalf when I was not emotionally detached enough to make the best decisions for myself . He truly embodies the role of advisor and counselor and his attention to detail has protected me and my future. I am grateful to him and his staff for being the support and help I needed in my worst time. Divorce is a serious matter and I couldn’t imagine a better outcome with anyone else as my guide and legal counsel.

I went to JR Cook and his team to help with my divorce process. I am extremely pleased with how they took on the bulk of the work and made what I figured would be a painful grueling process, easy and pain free. I had constant and timely communication with the team which made everything go so smoothly.

My husband and I were served a custody petition from my children’s biological father requesting 50%-50% (7 years after we separated). I interviewed several attorneys in our area, and came to to find Page & Cook through a referral from another law firm in our area. From the first call to the the office, they were quick to run through my case details, set up an appointment, and arrange a meeting between myself and JR.Cook. Through the entire process we were educated specifically about the laws/codes pertaining to our case specifically, and advised quickly as such-without hesitation. After completing mediation, unsuccessfully and proceeding to trial I can without a question know that we picked the ideal attorney to represent us. JR was quick with facts, and gifted with aggressive questions enlightening the judge on what myself, and most importantly my children have dealt with through the past 7 years. I am not going to say that “we won” because no child custody trial is really a “win” if you ask me. I will say that the results were Overwhelmingly in OUR favor. Mr. Cook managed to to get every detail of what we requested worked into our parenting plan, and issues that we have been dealing with for YEARS have been acknowledged by the court and placed as parenting guidelines moving forward. I can not thank this law firm enough, I would not hesitate to hire JR again tomorrow, should any future issues arise.
