I am a former satisfied client of the firm so when my son needed legal advice I did not hesitate to contact Mr.Greers’ office and make an appt. After meeting with one of Mr.Greers’ associates we followed the advice given to us to try to come to an agreement on our own with the other party on the date of the first hearing. It was advised to us to make an offer then to give a fair amount of time for the other party to consider the offer. If after this time the other party still did not want to settle we were then suppose to contact Mr.Greers’ office for them to take over representing us for the upcoming second hearing. We did just that as instructed and notified Mr.Greers’ office at which time we were told that his associate no longer had time for our case and referred us to another firm. Of course at this time I was quite concerned because we had only put aside the attorney fee that was quoted to us during our first appointment. I called the attorney referred to us but they did not take this kind of case nor did the other two referrals they gave or even the next 5 attorneys I called in the kingsport area. I believe that the assistants name that I spoke with throughout this week was Kathy. She told me that her boss said he was to busy to take the case, she gave me referral after referral after referral that were never going to work out to begin with. At one point she stopped answering the phone altogether And the following day when I called for the last time to ask her what should I do now and how do I go about communicating with the court and what to say all she could tell me was that her boss said I needed to deal with it on my own. How’s that for customer service?
