They work slow, don't get back to you in a timely manner. They also owed me money for over paying, and it took 3 Months of me constantly asking them about my money. It was a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend them.

I cancelled a consultation 48 hours before . This firm still charged me the fee after I contacted them to cancel. My suggestion is to not use this firm for fraudulent charges after cancelled my consult

When we needed to find a law firm to represent our daughter in a child custody case filed in Knoxville we read some reviews and selected Lefevor & Slaughter. We didn't regret it. Clay White and the team did an excellent job in bringing a favorable resolution to the case. These matters can bring emotions to a boil and he knew just what to do keep the temperature down. The staff at Lefevor & Slaughter are good communicators, dedicated, and work to keep costs down whenever possible. We would recommend them to anyone needing competent, professional representation in the area of family law.

Reminded today by text that lawyer would call at 4:30. I waited and at 4:45, no call so I called the office. Just an answering machine to leave your name & number. 5:10 a woman calls and asks me about what I need. Explained I was waiting for a call at 4:30 & it's 5:10. 5:25 the actual lawyer called & I told him of another appt I had in about 15 min & to refund my money into my bank account. I would have given them a zero if I could. I don't need a lawyer that forgets to call you & you have to leave a name & number on an answering machine. What if this was an emergency?? A call with a very long response time isn't who I want to deal with. I'll find another lawyer that respects my time and case.
